A Taste of Wonderful Ireland

AMAZING!! Our driver Darren and guide Daithi were wonderful, knowledgeable and sweet :) Not only was the drive absolutely stunning but it was also so enjoyable because our guide shared great stories and gave us a look into the Irish history, traditions, and culture. I was sincerely touched and moved by all that I learned and saw. It was such a fun ride with memories I will always cherish! This is a trip you really don’t want to miss. Please do yourself a favor and book this!

Kilkenny, Glandalough, sheep farm

I loved the experience! Our guide was Ian and he knows so much, joking and telling stories all the time! Baby sheep are adorable, I strongly recommend this tour

Highly Recommend

Driver was Darren and tour guide was Daithi. They were great! 10/10 would recommend them. Provided wonderful history of ireland as well as honest recommendations of the country (where to go and what to see etc.). Would definitely reach out again for a private tour.

Wonderful Tour of Scenic Kilkenny, Glendalough & Sheep Dog Farm! ❤️

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Wild RoverTours and their professional tour guide Ian and bus driver Marco. Ian was entertaining, kind and professional and provided a perfect mix of facts and storytelling. He looked after all of us and made sure to provide clear instructions, making sure no one was left behind! The places we visited were beautiful and we were able to get many stunning photos! We were also given plenty of opportunities to get refreshments or use the restrooms. Finally, the bus was immaculate and seats were very comfortable! Above each seat were controls for the air and a USB port for charging your phone! I highly recommend using Wild Rover Tours for a great tour experience and would use them again without hesitation! ❤️

Very informative tour with seasoned Tour Guide (Daithi) and dependable Driver (Darren). The ride was smooth and personal touch with great music and interesting tid bits about the history of the Island. It was a long day but well worth it.

Brilliant experience. Sean was a very knowledgeable and engaging guide, with many excellent recommendations. Pete got us there and back safely and efficiently. The cliffs and Atlantic way were absolutely stunning. Galway is a great stop off point for a nice lunch and a bit of exploration. Would highly recommend.

Great Tour to Cliffs and Galway

We did the tour today with Darren as our driver and Daithi as our guide and they were great! I had previously booked with the other company in the area but they cancelled on us last minute so we are very thankful for Wild Rover!

Amazing

Eve our guide and joe our driver were amazing! It’s a long journey, but Eve still had us all entertained and laughing when we were tired. Time speeds by with this trip, we had so much fun. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see amazing views and have a really fun time.

Luscious landscapes and ocean views!

Excellent tour! It’s a long day, but you’d never know it. Joe drove us expertly everywhere, thru narrow old streets and precarious corners. Eve is a wealth of knowledge about the history of Ireland and its folklore. She kept us entertained and engaged the whole trip. This is a great trip for anyone wanting to visit the Cliffs and get a taste of the beautiful burren landscape. Lovely last stop in Galway. Don’t miss Murphy’s for unique Irish homemade ice creams, including tastes like Irish soda bread and chocolate whiskey! Highly recommend this tour!

Overall, this was a great way of seeing Belfast while based in Dublin. A few notes: -The coffee shop we stopped at in the morning was bad. Plan breakfast ahead or bring it with you. -Black Cab Tour >>> Titanic. The personal history you'll get from the Black Cab is an opportunity you shouldn't miss. -The red trail on the Giant's Causeway was not too difficult and totally worth it - stunning views above the causeway for marginally more challenging walking. Unless specifically going down stairs is difficult, most people could manage. -There was plenty of time for lunch at the Nook at the Giant's Causeway stop, though it was pricy. -Not a lot of time at the rest stop on the way home. Good for the bathroom, but not a meal or snacks. I'd pack some! Una was a great tour guide and Krishna drove us well. It was clear they knew the logistics of the trip inside and out and made sure we got what we needed at each place.

I recently did both the Belfast / Giant's Causeway and Cliffs of Moher / Galway City bus tours during a trip to Ireland in March 2025. This was my first time travelling with a bus day tour, and both tours surpassed my expectations! I am in my mid-30s and was travelling with two friends, and found these tours to be the perfect way to see all of the sights, get lots of historical context and local information, have plenty of time to explore at your own pace, and cover a lot of ground with minimal handling of logistics (they sort out everything for you!). I particularly recommend the Black Cab tour in Belfast - it was a very meaningful experience. I appreciate the guides' efforts to keep things engaging - our Belfast tour guide via a trivia game at the end of the day to ensure we retained all of the fun facts we'd learned, and our Galway tour guide via his own live music performances! I highly recommend Wild Rover Tours if you're looking for fun, engaging, well-organized day trips from Dublin.

We took two Wild Rover tours, one Belfast day trip and one Galway. Both were absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend EVERYONE visiting Ireland to book a trip! On our Belfast trip, Michael and Maurice took such good care of us, adding true Irish charm and knowledge to the day and providing us with laughs and excellent recommendations. Lunch at the Giant's Causeway was truly magical! On the Galway trip, Joe and Kevin made sure we got to see the best of the West coast, and the Galway area is lovely to explore! I enjoyed Kevin's little quiz at the end of the trip and was amazed by the confidence Joe had going along the narrow, curving country roads. Having a dedicated guide AND driver make the Wild Rover tours so wonderful, you know you are taken care of!
