This was an excellent experience. I must due during a visit to Ireland. The day was perfectly planned. Stephen and Davy we hilarious and informative of Irish history.

Wonderful Tour with Knowledgeable Guide and Great Driver
We had a fantastic experience with Wild Rover Tours. Our guide, Brian, was extremely informative and shared a wealth of knowledge about the history of Ireland and the sites along the way. The Cliffs were absolutely stunning, and Galway was such an interesting little city to explore. Despite a large number of tourists on the bus, Brian took the time to speak to each of us personally, which made the experience feel warm and welcoming. A big thank you as well to Sarah, who drove us safely and comfortably throughout the journey. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Ireland.

First timers - loved it!!!
This was the first time taking an excursion we found on TripAdvisor. It is an absolute must for anyone thinking about it. Our tour guide Niamh gave lots of interesting stories of the tourist spots with some hidden gems thrown in too. There was music on board that linked to the stories too - a great touch. The travelling was comfortable and well equipped with WiFi, charging and an expert driver, JP, who took us all around Ireland. Thank you for an amazing day out.

Black Cab Learning and Beautiful Scenery
We had a great day. The Black Cab Tour was an amazing learning experience for the whole family. The Northern Coast of Ireland was beautiful.

The Cliffs are the Star Attraction
Cliffs are great. Bring a rain jacket & leave umbrella on bus. Need something to break the wind. Maurice an excellent guide. Bunratty castle is limited in experience.

Excelente excursión, con el tiempo dándonos una tregua a nuestra llegada a los acantilados de Moher. Fantásticas vistas en los acantilados y un tiempo adecuado para la visita y encargar un pequeño picnic en el café del centro de visitantes. El tiempo mejoró en el transcurso del viaje a Galway, permitiendo pasear por la ciudad y junto al río con un tiempo soleado. Tal vez las 2h se hacen un poco justas para llegar a disfrutar todos los encantos de la ciudad. Murph and Marko. The Dream Team
We were lucky enough to have Marko as a driver for both of our tours with Wild Rover. He is truly the best in the world. Truly. Murphy was also a breath of fresh air. He mixed history and humor to make the long drive seem mere minutes.

Marko and Murphy!
Fantastic. Marko was a great driver and Murphy was a wonderful guide. It was a brisk three hour drive to the beautiful cliffs and Murphy regaled us with his knowledge and his great sense of humor while Marko kept us humming along safely. Definitely recommend.

Perfectly Balanced, well-timed tour!
My friend and I had such a lovely time on this tour. Murphy and Marko were excellent guides, and we had so much fun! There was a great balance of history/learning combined with relaxing views of the Irish countryside. Plenty of stops for bathroom/snacks, and bonus points for not leaving without us when we were late getting back to the bus in Galway. Thank you!

A Great Day Trip in Ireland!
My wife and I had a great time on this tour during our honeymoon! Our guide, Dermot was absolutely fantastic—telling us about Irish history, the sites we were driving by, and tips and tricks for the places we were visiting (like where a secret bathroom at the Cliffs of Moher is so we could beat the lines!).

Praise for a great visit to Ireland
Niamh and JP were great! JP drove over some narrow streets with hairpin curves like a pro. Niamh told some interesting stories of people in Ireland’s history. She was very helpful with finding good places to eat and shop. She also gave us tips on how to navigate the tourist sights. I am so happy I got to experience this beautiful, fun, musical Country.

Great way to experience some highlights of Ireland
Yes, it's a long day. Yes, it feels like the time at each stop goes very quickly (even though it's usually 1 to 1.5 hours). But as a traveler who is not going to be renting a car, navigating narrow roads, figuring out tolls and parking, and driving on the opposite side of the car/road as I'm used to, this was an amazing way to see some special Irish places within a day. Dermot, our driver, was professional and warm and shared an insider's view of Irish history, culture, and mythology. He managed the time effectively, finding a good balance between sharing information as he drove and playing music related to the topics he talked about. I was grateful he decided to switch up the route to drive through Burren and show us a little more than the original itinerary. Though it was an early start, I was able to get breakfast and coffee at the first stop and other stops were thoughtfully placed so that it was never too long between opportunities for the restroom or food. The Cliffs of Moher were totally worth it, and Bunratty was a nice stop. Most of the time in Ennis was taken up by lunch at a decent pub, but if there's something you really want to see there, you have the option to go off on your own. My advice would be to research each stop on your own and make a plan for what specifically you want to spend your time on (for example, maybe skip the visitor's center at the Cliffs so you can use the time to see more views, and pick a few must-sees at the Folk Park because you won't have time for all of it after the castle tour). Also, take a water bottle or buy one on the way (you can refill it at the Cliffs), and always know how long it will take you to get back to the bus. The long day on a bus might not be for everyone, but if you want a good way to feel like you've seen a lot of Ireland, especially the famous Cliffs of Moher, this is an incredible way to do it and a reasonable deal for what you get.

Use a different tour company
I booked 3 tours with the Wild Rover during my stay in Dublin. Kilkenny/Glenlough was a fun trip, but Cliffs of Moher is the only part worth that day trip. You would be better off renting a car to prevent the short time limit to enjoy the sights. Did not go to the next trip booked to Belfast and they refused to refund the trip. Do not recommend.

Scenic and informative experience
My wife and I had a great time throughout our tour. We found the coastal sites breathtaking .Also learned a lot about Irish history and politics on the black cab experience, it was a highlight of the trip. Rory and John took great care of us, explaining things and bringing humor throughout the trip.
