Great way to experience the Irish countryside

Excellent tour that gives a good sample of the Irish countryside and its medieval history. Very convenient and easy to do from Dublin as well and had a good mix of driving and activities. Paul, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and amicable and Michael was an excellent driver on the narrow Irish country roads. Would recommend and I'd do another tour if I had the time.

Good experience!

It was a long day, but such a good experience ! I recommend it at 100%, the weather was great. The bus was nice and the guide super nice. For €60, it was an excellent experience. However, there were some inconveniences. There was no control or need for the passport (ETA), while on GetYourGuide, you are charged (€25 per person). We paid €75 for two because one of the requests was rejected and we had to pay back again, for nothing. Rather average. You have to leave a little early in the morning, but it's normal, it's part of the experience. Nothing very nasty. We would have preferred to spend a little more time in Belfast.

Great Experience

Well worth the time and money to see as much of Ireland and to learn the history. Cliffs of Moher and town of Galway were highlights. Folks not returning to the bus on time was not. Driver Sara and Mathew who had a great playlist were both exceptional.

A long day but well worth the trip to see Northern Ireland!

Our tour guide David & driver Donna were terrific! David provided excellent entertaining commentary. He had the perfect blend of humor, historical perspective and gave the group breaks along the way to take in the scenery. He sang as well which we really enjoyed! Donna was professional & prompt at every stop. We wanted to see the Titanic Museum which was terrific & well worth the morning spent there. We saw artifacts, read interviews of the survivors, were in a virtual tour of the ship and stood on a glass floor and watched the wreckage float below us. We then went to Dunluce Castle- a medieval castle that was built on the cliff of the Antrim Coast. Truly a stunning site to behold. Our final stop was to the UNESCO World Heritage site of The Giants Causeway. It was spectacular and well worth the visit. We took the shuttle down to have the maximum amount of time climbing on the basalt columns. The shuttle is four Euros as of this writing round trip. As we had saved time by using the shuttle, we went to the Nook for a cup of soup & a salad before the long trip back. Highly recommend!

Cliffs of Moher!

This Wild Rover tour was a highlight of our trip to Ireland. I took this same tour a few years ago with my husband. This time I had my daughters with me. The tour makes for a long day, but the scenery makes it totally worthwhile. There is no way I’d want to drive on the narrow Irish roads. Our very skilled driver was Krishna, and our guide was Padhraig. They were wonderful! There is no way to put into words the beauty that you will see on this tour. The weather alternated between rain and sun on our drive across the country. The sun was out when we arrived at the Cliffs, so we hurried to see them in all their glory. Before long the clouds rolled in, and it started to rain. Prepare for any type of weather there, including wind! We hurried inside and made some purchases in the gift shop and got 99p cones at The Puffin’s Nest. After two hours we headed along the Wild Atlantic Way to Galway. It was a great day!

Mike the driver and Owen the tour guide.... both were Awesome ! It was a great tour with lots of information and storytelling with Irish music as well. It is a very long tour though, so do not plan anything else for the day of the tour

Fantastic experience

I loved this tour, the guides were funny and attentive. My favorite part was Glendalough, and they suggested a lovely walk. The weather was mostly quite lovely which was unexpected! Would definitely suggest for solo travelers. Get to your pickup spot early to get a good seat!

Trip out to cliffs of Moher today! Niamh was a fantastic tour guide and Pete a great driver getting to our destinations safely! I love that driver and tour guide are separate. Allows for driver to safely focus on driving. Niamh gave us many little facts about many areas of our drive. I have used other tour companies in the past and I cannot recommend Wild Rover Tours enough. From purchase to trip completion not a flaw to be had. Thank you for taking the stress out of transportation so we could enjoy our family vacation and focus creating memories instead of driving!

I did the bus tour of Cliffs of Moher and Galway City with Pete the driver and Niamh who was our guide. The tour was so organized, thoughtful, and informative. Niamh was so lovely and knowledgeable. She gave us wonderful recommendations and a map of local shops for Galway City so that we could make the most of our time there. And Pete was an excellent driver. When I come back to Ireland I want to do the other tour to the Wicklow mountains. Highly recommend!
