Great time connecting-people and history.
Meaningful Black Taxi tour in Belfast with Pat the Hat, and grateful for his first-hand experience living through the Troubles. Also really appreciated that our bus tour guide was from Belfast, with her own personal stories. Loved the pub lunch at the Giant’s Causeways. And beautiful views at the Castle Dunluce…and everywhere.

Cliffs of Moher & Galways - 1 day from Dublin
My husband and I had a fantastic time on the one day Cliffs of Moher/Galway tour with Wild Rover Tours from Dublin. Our guide, Dave, was incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining, and made the whole experience enjoyable and fun. He was also very helpful, ensuring everyone not only had a great time but also provided solid recommendations on maximizing time, places to go during free time, good eats, and lots of insider tips. Our driver Darren was the real MVP, he navigated the tight and windy roadways like a pro; in rainy and precarious conditions. I was impressed but how smooth this ride was. I highly recommend this to anyone thinking about visiting these beautiful locations. It's a must-do trip!

This was an amazing tour. Ulna gave a lot of history and back story in a captivating way. Michael was a great driver and they both kept an eye out for us.

Three Times the Fun!
My sister and I took three Wild Rover day tours during our 10-day trip to Dublin. We visited the Cliffs of Moher/Galway, Giants Causeway/Belfast, and Kilkenny/Wicklough mountains. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, sharing not only the history of each region, but fun and interesting stories as well. Sarah, our driver for all three tours, did an excellent job of safely navigating both the high speed highways and the narrow, winding country roads of Ireland. The buses were relatively comfortable and had cell phone charging ports. While there were no toilets on the buses, the number of stops during the day at facilities was sufficient. The cost of each tour was reasonable, and booking three tours with Wild Rover earned us a nice discount! We highly recommend Wild Rover Tours!

Great tour guide and driver
Una and Michael were amazing! Una told us her own personal experiences during the Troubles on the way to Belfast as well as Irish myths and legends about the places we visited. She was clear about times and directions for each stop. I appreciated how she checked up on all of us throughout the tour. I felt like we had plenty of time at each stop and didn’t feel rushed.

Great trip
I went with Krishna and Paul and they had the best recommendations everywhere we went. The sheep herding demonstration was honestly the highlight of the trip and I even got to hold a sheep while I was there! Great tour and affordable price for the value of transportation and guide.

A great chance to see more of Ireland without the stress of driving.
Dave and Darren were excellent chaperones on our trip to the west coast. Dave did an excellent summary of a large portion of Irish history with frequent humorous asides, and Darren deftly drove us far afield and back again. Highly recommended.

A perfect day
My best friend and I joined this incredible tour on December 1st, 2024, and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. Initially we thought about organizing the trip ourselves, but after experiencing this day we were so glad we opted for the tour instead. It was truly flawless. Our guide, Christian, was exceptional - funny, witty and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared fascinating and eclectic insights on everything from Irish culture, history and language to geology and fun facts. He and our driver, Stephen, made a great team. Stephen's driving was impeccable, and both of them were patient and dedicated to ensuring we had the best possible experience. The locations we visited are nothing short of breathtaking. These are places everyone should see at least once in their lifetime. Next time we'll visit Ireland, we'll definitely book another tour with Wild Rover. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience!

Great time!
Dave and Darren (& Dolly!) were fantastic! They really made the trip special. Dave was very personable and made sure to speak with everyone. He was a very warm, friendly person! His stories and recommendations were fantastic. Dave's driving style was smooth and I always felt safe! I was feeling a little motion sick as we were sitting in the very back corner of the packed bus which was a fairly tight space but when I mentioned this, both Dave and Darren jumped to help make me feel more comfortable! Dave gave me a couple of motion sickness wrist bands that really helped. On top of that, on our leg back to Dublin from Galway, Dave asked if we would like to move our seats as two seats become available when a couple took the train back. It made a world of a difference and I am so appreciative of this. The views at the cliffs of Moher were fantastic and it was neat checking out Galway but what I will take away is the kindness of our tour guide, Dave, and our driver, Darren. You guys took me from never wanting to do another tour like this to totally being open to another trip. Thank you guys so much!!

Wholesome Western Ireland
It’s a lovely tour throughout a very remote area of Ireland, towards West Coast and the Wild Atlantic Way. Awesome territories! Even with bad weather that makes the experience real true. Dave the guide is literally better than an open book on history, mithology and traditions for Ireland. Darren the driver is “very” experienced and knows how to pilot the big piece of steel through those wet country roads in safety. It’s a looong tour that starts at 6:55am and ends at 8pm, however fully worth the effort, especially for the Cliffs of Moher which are simply wonderful. Great experience
