Liam is an extremely friendy tour guide and he has really amazing and unique stories. This tour is one of my best memories from Ireland.

Great landscape and Perfect irish history class
Amazing day visiting really nice and beautiful places as Kilkenny and Glendalough! Liam is the perfect guide, he knows about history and he Tells everything with the perfect sense of humour. JP is a really nice driver and take us safely and in time eveywhere. 😊

The tour was lovely. From our guide and his unique facts about Ireland and the places we visited, to his kind and fun character! And the drive was lovely. Always moving and always a warm greeting when entering and exiting the bus! I enjoyed the tour very much. Thank you everyone for your time with all us Wild Rovers!

Knowledgeable

What a fantastic day. Our guide and driver were fantastic. She is completely full of amazing information with great insights and suggestions. He, our very competent driver, made sure we were safe and cared about. We will return to Wild River.

Stunning day with a funny guide!
Had the most great day with Murphy as a guide and Sarah driving, it went so smoothly and thankfully we had stunning weather so the Cliffs of Moher was crystal clear and had great views. They had buckets of interesting information they shared with us on the bus, and then just let you roam around to do your own thing at the 2x stops which is nice. I’ve already decided I want to go back and visit Galway, only thing I’d say is that I’d love more time there :)

Great views Lots of History
A very comfortable ride and a very knowledgeable guide. Beautiful scenery and plenty of time off the bus. Recommend sitting on the left side of the bus for the best views. Would definitely do it again.

Tours, landscapes, history, and pubs!
This tour has castles, landscapes, history, and pubs! The tour guide was knowledgeable and provided a plethora or stories about every location we were at. I enjoyed how the tvs on board also showed information and stories. I appreciated how the guide and bus driver repeated info and meeting times for those of us that fell asleep (or missed it the first time). The Titanic museum was way better than I anticipated.

Great time
This was my second tour booked with Wild Rovers and I’m happy it was. I used a second company for my third tour and it was a bad experience, it ended up cancelled and I booked on a third company that was terrible. For this tour I had Dave and Marco. Marco is a great driver and Dave was super informative and amusing. He gave so many suggestions for things to do in Galway! This really allowed for each person to have the experience they wanted. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to see the west coast of Ireland.

Fantastic experience
Absolutely fantastic trip. The Giant’s Causeway and the scenery around that area is simply breathtaking. Almost literally, depending on how strong the wind is. But the real star of the show (for me) was Dunluce Castle. It’s a fairly short stop, only about 30 minutes, but I could have spent hours here. Sprawling cliffside castle ruins with incredible views of the ocean. Everything was easy, comfortable, and well-explained. Our guide was great and have plenty of information about the locations we visited and things we saw along the way.

Political history, Giants Causeway, great Castle
The black cab tour was an excellent first hand experience to learn some political history of the area. It is a fresh reminder that this history occurred in our lifetime, and it still is relevant today. Top it off with a visit to the legendary Giants Causeway and Dunluce Castle; what more could you ask for? I definitely recommend the black cab tour over the Titanic museum. (The black cab will drop you off at the Titanic museum where you can still see where the Titanic was built and launched, even though you don't have time for the Titanic Tour.) The cab driver is a local and was very well versed in the events of recent times known as 'The Troubles'. Of course, Dunluce Castle ruins (Game of Thrones) and the famous Giants Causeway were great experiences also, but self guided. You do get to walk round and inside the castle grounds, which was great. And you can opt for a guided audio tour at Giants Causeway if you like, but I preferred the longer more treacherous walk along the cliffs. If it's foggy and rainy, just wait 20 or 30 mins and you might get some sun, temporarily, but no matter the weather, it's a great site to behold.

Fun guides!
I used a third party travel agency that organized 2 tours with Wild Rovers and a third with another company, I’ve waited until the end of my trip to review to have perspective. This tour was my first and I had Maurice and JP, they were incredibly helpful and attentive. Maurice provided so much information. Both were so welcoming. Tour was great and informative, I really enjoyed the Black Taxi tour in Belfast. The third tour I had with another company was poorly managed and end up being cancelled. Went with a third company as an alternative and was incredibly disappointed having had 2 Wild Rovers tours in the days before. I recommended Wild Rovers to several other passengers during the many times we were waiting for the bus to arrive.

Beautiful views and great guide
Very good day tour. Cliffs of Moher are spectacular. Tour guide was great. Professional and funny (but not cheesy). The tour is very tight in terms of timing. It covers a large area so there isn’t a lot of time at each spot.

Excellent tour with great tour guide!
This tour was one of the best I have been on. The black cab tour of Belfast was very special, as we learned about the “troubles” in Northern Ireland from cab drivers who were born into and lived through that period. The stops at Dunluce Castle and Giant’s Causeway were also amazing. The scenery along the coast was breathtaking, as our skilled driver JP maneuvered the big bus expertly on the winding country roads. Our tour guide, Kevin, was extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent commentary throughout the tour. He also played traditional and modern Irish music and showed us some historical videos while we traveled between destinations. Kevin also did an excellent job scheduling rest room stops along the way, which is very important for an older traveler like me. I highly recommend this tour!

Dublin Day Trip
Highly recommend this trip for a day trip from Dublin to explore the nearby Irish countryside and the city of Kilkenny with a great selection of stops along the way. Liam is an incredible guide and very knowledgable of the area and the history.
