Cliffs of Moher/Galway tour,
The tour was very well organized and everything explained clearly. Dave and Steve did an excellent job running the tour. Dave is very funny and personable and Steve is an excellent driver making it through tight concerns on the first go. I highly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it.

Fantastic trip to the Cliff's of Moher
We had an unforgettable experience on Wednesday, visiting the Cliffs of Moher and Galway, made truly exceptional thanks to our tour driver Billy and guide Sean. From start to finish, everything was handled with such professionalism and warmth. Billy’s driving was flawless—safe, smooth, and steady throughout the journey, even along some of the narrower and more winding roads. Is calm and confident approach behind the wheel made the entire group feel at ease and allowed us to sit back, relax, and enjoy the stunning Irish landscapes. Sean was the perfect guide—knowledgeable, entertaining, and genuinely passionate about Ireland’s history and culture. He shared an incredible amount of trivia, stories, and insider tips that added so much depth to every place we visited. His commentary struck the perfect balance of humor and insight, and he made the journey between stops feel just as engaging as the destinations themselves. Together, Billy and Sean made a fantastic team. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time, and it truly showed. If you’re considering this tour, do yourself a favor and hope you get these two—your day will be all the better for it!

A Well Spent DayTrip
The meeting site was close to our hotel. The guide and bus driver were friendly and helpful. The comfort stops were good. The Black Cab Tour was so emotional and interesting. We enjoyed the majestic scenery of the Giant's Causeway.

Dermont to the best tour guide
Our tour guide Dermont McGuyre was absolutely fabulous! He was knowledgeable, funny, a safe driver and was very passionate about his job and Ireland. Loved the tour and would book again and if we could pick him as a personal tour guide. The weather was amazing and he gave us plenty of time at each stop.

Uh Oh…
I wish I had more positive things to say since I spent nearly $200 USD on this tour for my cousin and I. We did not have enough time to see the attractions, and our tour guide was questionable. Our tour was led by driver John OD, and guide John B. John OD was pleasant to talk to when getting on and off the bus between stops. The first stop on the tour was a service plaza where we had 15 minutes to use the restrooms and purchase snacks. The bathroom lines were out the door since multiple other tours also stopped there, so there wasn’t much time to buy snacks before we left. The roads there were very bumpy and brutal once we reached the countryside. The bus moved very fast, often stopping and turning abruptly. Then we got to the Cliffs of Moher. The cliffs themselves were very beautiful. However, we only had 2 hours there. Upon arrival, we wasted 30 minutes in line for the restrooms since once again, multiple other tour buses and tourists were also there. We walked around the cliffs outside for about 45 minutes before we had to turn back to quick get a snack and use the restrooms before departure. We barely had time to travel down any of the cliff trails, so I would definitely dedicate a whole day to the cliffs itself and hop on a generic city bus to get to them. It’s way cheaper, and you can spend more time there. At this point, my phone was low battery, and our charging ports, as well as the bus WFI, didn’t work. John OD said he could charge my phone up front, but before we departed to Galway my cousin asked John B about it… and he was weirdly scolded and told to sit back down, before John B my phone away. (To charge it?) On the way to Galway, the roads were bumpier and the bus was very hot with no open windows and little ventilation. We travelled through the Burren, but it was hard to enjoy the view with the turbulent roads. People started getting nauseous, including the grandfather of this Italian family sitting directly in front of us. The family did not speak English. They called for help since the grandfather was about to be sick. John B came over to them, and one of the family members was trying to speak to John in Italian. John told him that he needs to calm down, be quiet, and sit still. Eventually, after arguing with them for a while, John gave the family an emesis bag and paper towels. Shortly after John B’s interaction with the Italian family, I also started to feel sick. I called out for John B, and my cousin pressed the service button multiple times. John B came back down, and immediately started arguing with the Italian man, telling HIM he needs to calm down, when the man wasn’t doing anything. My cousin tried to tell John B that the family wasn’t causing any problems and that it was me who was sick, but John ignored my cousin entirely. The Italian man’s wife, who had the emesis bag, passed it to me since John B was too busy arguing with her husband over nothing to be attentive to the situation. While I was actively vomiting, John B told the Italian man to stop speaking Italian, and to speak English. He said, “I don’t speak Italian, we’re in Ireland, speak Irish…I mean, English” and that he needed to behave or he’d leave him behind on the tour. Only after he was done arguing with him did John B check on me. I asked what to do with my spew filled emesis bag, and John B told me to hold it in my hands until we stopped again. I continued to sit with the hot, full vomit bag in my lap for another 45 minutes until we reached Galway. My cousin sitting beside me started getting nauseous because of this. One more time before reaching Galway, John B randomly came down the aisle to talk to the Italian man’s wife, asking her if she knew English and asking her if she could tell her husband to behave. I thought this was unnecessary since her husband wasn’t doing anything disruptive. He had been silent for almost an hour. John B seemed offended that this family could only speak Italian and not English. Right before reaching Galway, John B told everyone that if you don’t speak English and need to go to a bathroom, go into a pub and say “no English, no English…toilet, toilet!” The Italian family were the only people on the bus who didn’t know English very well, so everyone knew he was signaling them out. John B also described the “hundreds” of garbage cans available around the city of Galway, which I guess was foreshadowing for me. When we finally reached Galway, I got off the bus last with my emesis bag wrapped in paper towels. I asked John OD what to do with it, thinking they had a special garbage up front for it. He informed me that I’d have to throw it out in a garbage can somewhere off of the bus. I also got my phone from the front that they were charging for me, only to find out it didn’t charge a single percentage. I understand that they didn’t want the filled emesis bag on the bus, but there were no garbage cans in sight once we got off the bus. I had to wander the streets of an unknown city carrying a full emesis bag for a few blocks until I found a garbage can in an alley for it. You would think that they’d have a special garbage can for emesis bags, especially since the tour guide said that the country roads make people sick a lot. He said, “that’s the price you pay for wanting to see the countryside,” and implied people always vomited on these tours. When we got to Galway, we only had 2 hours there. John B led a walking tour, which we opted out of in the interest of time. We had time to go into one shop, and then got lunch at a restaurant. By the time we finished, we only had 15 minutes left. For the three hour ride back from Galway, John B talked nonstop. At the beginning of the tour, he said he’d talk for 15 minutes, then stop and play music and let guests relax. He played music once at the beginning, and then it was never heard again past 9 am. For the rest of the tour, he talked the entire time. The complete lack of silence or quiet for the entire trip made everyone exhausted, and by the end of the day people groaned every time the bus intercom would start again.

Our guide, Brian, was so detailed about the history and places that surrounded us. He was also very good about telling us about our breaks and how much time we had. The microphone kept going in and out so we were catching every other word some of the trip. But other than that it was great. Our driver was safe and quick. All around a good trip. Wear comfortable shoes and warm clothing. If you’re amongst the older or disabled crowd don’t worry about making it to the spectacular views bc they have a golf cart that will take you up called the “Lifts of Moher,” (no joking that’s the name of their service).
