Wild Rover Tours put together a great day trip for our family from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher and Bunratty Castle & Folk Village. Our booking was a breeze with Evelina via email - and she was flexible and accommodating when our desired route changed just a couple weeks before our scheduled date. Our driver Ciaran was great - full of interesting facts and stories and extremely professional and friendly. A couple of family members are prone to motion sickness and he was careful to give plenty of opportunities to pull over and take a break. He also took the time to learn about our interests and tailored his comments and side trips to those. For example, Limerick wasn't initially on our itinerary, but when my oldest mentioned that Limerick is a "sister city" of our hometown of Spokane, Washington, and it would be cool to drive through so we could say we'd visited a sister city, he happily detoured - and even tried to help us track down a sculpture gifted to Limerick from Spokane! (Unfortunately, the area it was placed was under construction so we didn't get to see it.) And when another son mentioned his love of castles, Ciaran made sure to point out every castle or castle-like ruin along th way. He also didn't mind a bit when we were lulled to sleep by the smooth ride (jet lag!)... Truly can't recommend Wild Rover Tours and Ciaran highly enough!

Darren (sp?) was exceptional! We came to visit from Ottawa (Canada) and did the day trip to the Cliffs of Moher, Ennis, and Limerick. He was incredibly kind and had tons of experience and knowledge about the locations we drove by. We also chatted a bit about our two countries while finishing up in Limerick. Definitely recommend him! Amazing day full of awesome memories<3

Giants Causeway & Belfast City Day Tour from Dublin (with Dunluce castle)

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Duration of the stops was perfect and Rory & Zolt were great as guide & driver. Black cab political tour of Belfast was very interesting and we loved the Castle and Giants Causeway.

Great way to spend your day in Ireland!

Maurice was absolutely wonderful. Very knowledgeable, organized, thoughtful and charming. Such a gentleman and quite witty. Paolo, our driver, was also wonderful. Very personable and an excellent driver! Our cab driver was soooo knowledgeable during our Black Cab tour. My husband and I would love to learn more about Belfast.

A must do!

Tour was amazing and Maurice was a fabulous guide! So much knowledge to share on the journey to keep us entertained and educated while we were on the bus. Also Paulo the driver was lovely and has the patience of a saint driving slowly behind the MAMILs :-)Thank you

Maurice Paolo are a great team

Maurice and Paolo were great tour guides, always looking out for us. They were very knowledgeable and did a great job of passing that knowledge on. It was a long day and they made it very pleasant. Paolo drives the bus expertly and safety is always first

Bucket list- Giants Causeway, Glad we did tour!

Tour moved at a good pace, timing was just right. Black cab tour was very informative and emotionally moving, Patrick was our driver and did a great job of explaining the troubles in Belfast. Maurtie our tour guide is highly intelligent and funny too. We learned a lot thanks to him. Paulo our driver did an excellent job getting us safely around even with bicycle racers on the small roads. I would recommend this tour.

Selected the black cab tour in Belfast which was a once in a lifetime experience, can’t recommend it more highly. Wish there was one more stop on the way home to make the trip less of a long haul and the bus wifi was poor.

A memorable and enjoyable experience!

Today’s trip with our guide, Paul, was a fantastically planned route which allowed us to explore the castles and other historic structures in Kilkenny, along with an idyllic stop in Glendalough, and finally a visit to a sheep farm, where we met the caretaker and cute lambs! Throughout the trip Paul was great and kept the long road ahead pleasant by sharing stories and telling us of the intriguing history behind Irelands surroundings! Overall, it was a great adventure, and a worthwhile journey with Paul and Wild Rover Tours!

Read the fine Print and be prepared to sit on a bus for a long time

The voucher we received made it seem we would have a private black cab meaning a private car for my friends and I. Although, that wasn't it and we shared with two other groups and was stuffed into a small taxi aka Black Cab. We also thought we would get a tour of the city and be able to do some tourist shopping. I Had know idea Belfast tour was going to be a political tour. It was a very dark tour due to the subject matter, which was a surprise to me and something I would never have booked. I felt like I wasted a lot of time in Belfast. I was thrilled with the castle and Giant's Causeway. However again if I knew all the driving/sitting on a bus, I would have never booked this tour or agreed to it. (3) hours of site seeing and (9) hours sitting on a bus. I am very sore from being on the bus so long in uncomfortable seats as it's a bus. Pick up location wasn't clear. On voucher it said 59 OConnell but there are no signs. We were early and taxi cab sent us to one of your buses across the street and down the road, which wasn't yours so bit confusing. The tour guide working that tour sent us back the way we came to wait for our bus. I do think a disclaimer saying most of the tour is (7) hours of sitting on a bus that one can barely see anything as I was sitting in an aisle seat, short and next to a stranger. NO bathrooms on the bus. Another issue because we had to stop for some of us which added to the time on the bus doing nothing and seeing nothing Our bus tour guide Maurice was very helpful, knowledgeable and our driver Paolo did an amazing job getting us around. Those two were great.

Informative and got me to locations I would not normally be able to get to and see sights I definitely would not have seen. MAURICE And Paulo were wonderful the whole trip.

Best trip outside of the city!

My little group of 4 had a wonderful time exploring the old streets of Kilkenny and the trails of the Wicklow mountains. Seeing the herding dogs do their job was also a sweet treat to end the trip. Special thanks to Paul and Donna for making our day so great! Go raibh maith agat!

Both the driver Paolo and tour Guide Maurice we delightful very flexible with stopping and our comfort was of paramount concern as six hours on a coach can be exhausting. The tours were spaced out well and time at each was more than appropriate

Amazing Day Tour!

We had a smooth trip, thanks to Joe, our driver. Our guide, Rio, was amazing! She knew and shared a variety of interesting information about Ireland’s history! The Cliffs were remarkable, and the tour was a chance to see Galway, as well. Definitely worth a day of your time in Ireland!

Sheepdog Trial and Glendalough was Absolutely Worth it!

We loved our guide Julia and especially loved Glendalough and the sheepdog experience. This tour is definitely worth it if you do not wish to navigate driving, but want to see some historical sites. Booking these trips through TripAdvisor was also helpful for us because we had no idea what sites to see besides the Blarney Stone!

We love EVE and the magical cliffs!

Our guide Eve was the BEST! I learned so much from her about Irish history and folklore. This trip was the perfect way to see the magical cliffs and Galway without having to navigate driving. The scenery is breathtaking along the way.

Highly recommend!!

This was so well organized and easy to do. The day was packed and busy with just the right amount of free time to grab a bite or drink in between tours. All three highlights of the day are well worth it and must sees when visiting Ireland.
