Highly recommend ! The best food tour we have done and absolutely a great way to start a vacation in Italy. Our guide, Alessandra, took us to seven different places, starting with coffee and including two kinds of small sandwiches, wine, a truffle and olive oil tasting, pasta, and gelato. Our guide asked at the start if we wanted to know the whole itinerary or be surprised - we opted for surprised and enjoyed every stop. Alessandra was incredibly knowledgeable about Florence, having grown up here - but she’s lived in other places, in Italy and Europe, so she made comparisons with other foods and cuisines. And she extended the tour beyond three hours because we were delayed getting pasta and hadn’t gotten all the way to gelato! Just so thoughtful and so pleasant. Strongly recommend the experience!
