Matt was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions we had. He did not rush us through the tour and made sure we had time for photos. He put safety first at all times and made sure we felt comfortable. We had a great time!

At the end of an afternoon rental, found one of the e-bikes we rented had a flat rear tire. I called the store to find out what to do. The number goes to a national center, not the local store. I ended up having to find a local light rail station - I’m from out of town, no idea where anything is - and bring it back to the store. No apologies for a bad experience or attempt to make anything right. Definitely one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in San Diego. Stay classy Unlimited Biking.

Shavas was absolutely amazing. My friend and myself had never been on electric bikes and Shavas took his time and not only instructed us but lead us on his bike to the main road. The price was very affordable I just wish we had more time to ride. I would highly recommend Unlimited Biking especially for beginners.

We have done this tour several times over the past 10 years. It’s always fresh, always new information, and always the best and most memorable day of our trip. David was our tour guide, and he was EXCELLENT. Everything was very safe, he explained everything we would do before we actually did it, and he was very conscientious of the variety and ages of people in his group. We started off doing a short bike ride through the town of Versailles and stopped at the farmers market to buy picnic items. Then we biked onto the grounds and explored the canals. After exploring the canals, we sat down and ate our picnic lunch next to one of the canals. It was perfection. After lunch, we biked to both the Grand Trianon and the Petite Trianon, and then moved on to Marie Antoinette‘s Hamlet. The Hamlet is absolutely fascinating and we were able to explore it much more during this trip than we’ve been able to see in the past. After the Hamlet, we went into Versailles Palace and explored it on our own. The weather was beautiful, the people in the group were oh so friendly, and David was the perfect guide and host. There’s one thing I should mention as this company moves forward under new ownership. Please do not change the name from Fat Tire to Unlimited Biking! Unlimited Biking sounds very dull and generic, whereas Fat Tire Tours gives it whimsy and personality. Many people who have been doing these tours for years will think that Fat Tire has gone out of business and will not be able to find it in the future. Viva the Fat Tire name!
