We took the Best of Banff National Parks Adventure on Sunday July 13. Our guide Emma was very knowledgeable and quite sweet. She made our small group tour a lot of fun. Lake Louise and Moraine Lake were both beautiful. Emma knew just where to take us for a few other stops and beautiful scenery.

Awesome tour! We did a tour with Taylor and we didn’t have the best weather at all to see the lakes. He really went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a fun and informative trip, despite the rain. Learnt a lot about the mountains, landscape, wildlife etc. There is also opportunity to do some short walks at lake Louise (fairview lookout and along the lake). If you’re after a tour where you can absolutely pester the tour guide with questions and get great stories, this is the tour for you. Enjoy!

This guy was a genius. So smart! He is welcome to any questions about the environment, animals, water, etc. I was on his bus and i saw, Elk, Moose, bear, goose and even way more! if you like people to answer your questions because i love to ask questions, This is your guy right here! Best canyoning guide-thanks Matthieu!
First time canyoning for all 6 in our group (ages 15-52)-it was great! Mathhieu, our guide, was fantastic! He made it fun and we all felt safe. Highly recommend!!

See some hidden gems in Banff
Made stops at locations that were not on our trip itinerary. It was great to see the area through the eyes of someone who lives in the area. Charlie was a wealth of knowledge and very attentive to his guests. Would definitely recommend!

Best Banff Excursions
Tour guide Gini was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the area with fun facts of history and local wildlife. Driving was superb and she went the extra mile to make sure we had a great time. The trip was ordered so we could maximize our time in each area, avoid crowds when possible, and ensure everyone in our group got to do/see everything.

We signed up for this...
We signed up for this tour as weather conditions didn't allow us to see wildlife through the long drive from Jasper. Were we delighted that Bea (Bethany), our guide, took us through the back trails out of Banff! We saw bighorn sheep, deer, a herd of elk, squirrel, gorgeous lakes and waterfalls. To end it all - a double rainbow!!! Taking this tour was the highlight of our summer vacation! Bea was the best!!!

We booked the sunset tour of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake for the final evening of our vacation. What a perfect experience! The scenery was breathtaking. I’m so glad we booked an evening tour because there were no crowds and we could truly enjoy the tranquility at both locations. Our guide, B, was personable, engaging, informative and fun! She went out of her way to make everyone in our group feel comfortable. She shared tons of interesting information about the area and everyone appreciated her genuine warmth, easy going nature and sense of humor. I especially appreciated how much she engaged my children (ages 10 and 12). They were thrilled to see wildlife on the Bow Valley Parkway, especially a bear! Highly recommend this tour.

Our tour was amazing. We got a very personal tour of the Icelands Parkway that included spectacular views, hikes and experiences. Our guide Taylor was so knowledgeable and shared great information about the area. We even saw a bear from our bus. I would highly recommend this tour.

We were excited about seeing lake Louise and lake moraine and due to parking restrictions we signed up for your day long tour. We counted on our tour leader to teach us facts about the lakes and surrounding areas but learned little. Our leader Clem was absolutely friendly and lovely but lacked sufficient skills to guide the 8 of us. Time limits at each site were not stressed so the family of four ( part of our group) were NEVER on time and we wasted precious touring times while Clem searched for them at every stop.Very frustrating and annoying. That should be strongly mentioned at the start of every tour. Clem was very good at answering our questions and delightful chatting with her while we relaxed on a bench( during a break). But her guiding skills need some work. Still thinking if I would recommend this tour based on our experiences vs. the price of the tour.

Gave us what we needed, and not much more
As first time visitors to Banff, this tour gave us what we needed-easy access to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. We had about two hours at each location with our guide providing a general overview of each location. Parking for the vans was in short supply, so we were dropped off at Lake Louise with a given meeting spot two hours later. Moraine Lake was busy as well but we were able to park and get a bit more direction before exploring on our own. The advantage to tours is park access, a comfortable van that someone else drives, and a bit of commonly known local history. A note about lunch, we made a last minute request to add it to our trip which may have caused the issue with it being inedible. When providing a “general” bagged lunch for strangers, a more neutral option would be more suitable. One sandwich was wet and both had a spicy mayonnaise and cheese breading that was off-putting. Bananas as the fruit option was just odd. I’d seriously skip this option entirely, pack granola and snacks that you can carry (the van is highly unluckily to be accessible after you are dropped off) and make the best of it.
