We had a fantastic full day tour with Karim, visiting the Lascaux caves as well as Sarlat and several other beautiful villages. Karim was the perfect guide: laid back, funny, engaging and extremely knowledgeable on a variety of subjects. He also recommended a great lunch place for us while in Sarlat. While the drive to and from our pickup in Bordeaux was long it went by quite quickly thanks to the comfort of the van and Karim’s hospitality. Highly recommended! Thank you so much Karim!

What a waste of money

We wanted to visit for the first time a Christmas market. We thought a local that could guide us was a great idea. We started in Colmar and we were given 1.5 to visit. We felt rushed since we found it to be a place we could spend time. We were taken for 3 hours to another town that turned out to be a complete waste of time and was not listed on the tour description. We would’ve been better off renting a car. This tour wasn’t worth our money or time.

A definite tour for any wine lovee

Loved this tour. We were not rushed at all. And the wineries were very unique to those I've been in before. The towns are so quant there's something to see at every turn. The wine was soooooo good. Our guide Jerome was also so knowledgeable and helpful

Your experience on these tours really depends on your guide unfortunately. I did the full day trip through médoc. Most of the day was spent driving quite long distances between the wineries in complete silence. The guide pulled over to a few sites in between but had no knowledge or information on them. The wineries themselves were fine, but they each went over the same spiel each time. There wasn’t really anything differentiating them. Once you’ve seen one barrel room you’ve seen them all.

Fantastic half day D-day Tour

Our Tour Guide, Matt, gave an info packed tour that was suitable for both history nerds and the casual tourist. He shared a good mix of the overall scope of the war and the weapons and structures at hand and the personal experiences of troops (US & German) and the local French populace. The tour was detailed and personal, emotional and light hearted & funny. All around, it was everything we were looking for.

will be calling Viator on Monday. Paid for a tour that was from 9am to 3pm. Took the Train 2 hours to be told that the tour will be done at 5pm and there wouldve would've been no way for me to get back to mu hotel. The tour guy was very rude and lake custom service. Will need to be refunded for this trip

Not worth it

Our tour guide was fantastic. We first stopped at Colmar Christmas market, which was so fun. The market was bustling and the stores were picturesque. We had a limited amount of time here, so it was a challenge to see everything we wanted to see. Our second stop was highly disappointing. A majority of the shops were closed and the Christmas “market” was merely a handful of stalls. We were given several hours at this location and there was nothing to really see or do. This town was not listed on the tour description as somewhere we might stop. Our tour guide was sympathetic and apologized for the disappointment. The 2 other families on the same tour expressed the same opinions on the second stop. We would have rather spent all of the time in Colmar. Too much money spent for such little return.

Magical Over the Rainbow Experience

There would be no story if it wasn’t for your guide Jerome with his wine expertise and knowledge of the area. Jerome brought to life these three incredible cities one dated back to Roman times mid 700 a.d. and two mid evil times. They are breathtaking, surreal, fairytale and you get to live in this fantasy for the day. Top it of with the castle ? Over the top. It’s a Beauty and the Beast experience. Thank you Jerome.

Speechless! This tour was so surreal and beautiful. I felt like I was in another land. Our tour director Jerome was awesome, well informed and obviously knows his wines which was great considering where we were. However, the three towns visited deserve all the credit. They are stunning. Then to top it off with the castle tour. We took more photos then we ever have and still feel we couldn’t capture the true beauty.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Jerome during our half-day Alsace wine tour. We were so lucky to be with a very small group and on a SNOWY day in Colmar! The wine tastings were wonderful--both in explanation of the process and the unique character and personality of the wines and the wines themselves. We felt like a part of the wine culture and it was also my mom's first wine tour and she loved it as well! Jerome was amazing at answering questions, offering suggestions and giving us not only information and history on the wine country of Alsace, but also history of the towns that we drove through and stopped in. I couldn't recommend this tour enough! Thank you so much!! :)
