I'm not really one to enjoy being shuttled around on someone else's schedule. I enjoy my freedom and autonomy -- or so I thought until this tour. The pacing and energy of this experience (with Amelie as our guide) was surprisingly relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable, while also being time-efficient about visiting enough sites within a short time window (I did the half-day tour of the Alsace region). I received a good overview of this gorgeously quaint region and left with two bottles of highly local wine (purchased during the free time you have in the last village - I opted to do a wine tasting) and plenty of inspiration for longer trips in the future. Thank you Amelie, and I hope you have a wonderful trip to the US soon!

Benoit did a fantastic job as our guide. We enjoyed Domme very much. It's a beautiful medieval village. The boat ride was fun. Perfect weather for seeing La Roque Gageac village & castles from the river while hot air balloons ascended above us. Beynac & driving by Castel Naud was great, too.

Had a good time tasting wine & cheese today. 9 different cheeses & 3 wines to pair with. Great way to spent 90 minutes. Plenty of bread to go with it all. Couldn't eat dinner afterwards. We recommend it.

I had been dreaming of visiting these chateaux for a very long time. Today was a perfect way to fulfill that dream. Our guide Ilya was instrumental in my enjoyment. He was informative, but not overwhelming. He made the information interesting and easy to understand. He was flexible and asked for our preferences when possible. He was able to navigate the crowds in the chateaux ensuring that we saw everything without competing with a larger group. Our day trip to St. Emilion and the wineries was a fantastic experience! Our guide Mirela was so fun and knowledgeable about the wine, the Chateaux and the history. She is fabulous! A small group of eight made it so comfortable. And we were back in Bordeaux by 17h30, as promised. Thank you and Mirela for a memorable day.
