I booked a day trip to Lourdes, France with Ophorus and I am very happy with their excellent service! The reservations team was very responsive and took into consideration our requests and needs. Our driver/guide Karim was very nice and gave us the space to explore the area based on our interest. He was very helpful also in assisting my 84 year old mother. I will definitely recommend Ophorus for future guided tours. I also booked an airport pick up via Ophorus - that was also very well arranged. Thank you!

I recently participated in a four hour tour of the Omaha, Normandy Beach with Matt Turner. The tour was amazing and eye-opening. He shared the story of D-Day with compassion and facts. Matt did an excellent job of bringing humanity into the story. This was a true differentiator for me. As a former history major in college, I have a fairly good understanding of D-Day and the events that led up to that day. What was refreshing and interesting is the perspective that he brought to the story from the French, the Germans, the British, the Canadians and the American perspectives. Matt is a gifted storyteller who provides a bigger perspective of man’s overall humanity. It was an engaging and thought provoking four days. Time well spent.

As two young people travelling Europe for almost a year, we didn’t want to spend the money on a tour but knew it would provide a better understanding of the landings and what we were looking at. We opted for the half day tour of the American sites and the value was phenomenal. Our tour guide Matt was incredibly knowledgeable. He clearly has gone above and beyond to understand the history of WW2 including interviewing locals and firsthand accounts from veterans. I studied International Relations, took numerous courses specifically on WW2 and this was better than any lecture I ever had. My partner who is very knowledgable on WW2 also learned new information. Matt provided different perspectives of war and examples of humanity from either side, which in todays world is an important reminder for us all. I highly recommend booking this tour with Matt!
