I enjoyed the Alsace villages half day tour from Colmar. Tour guide Jerome is knowledgeable and explained change of towns to be visited due to traffic. He drove us to Turckheim with a small Christmas market, and led us through the streets to understand the structure of half timbered houses. Then we visited a traditional wine growers village, Hunawihr, on a hilltop to enjoy the view. Last, we went to Riquewihr, and had an hour of free time to roam around the beautiful town and Christmas market. I enjoyed this small group tour (7 guests).

I would highly recommend this tour, and Marksym was the best tour guide! The tour was perfectly timed out, each stop was unique and amazing, and our guide provided us with a lot of background and history! I cannot say enough good things about this experience.

Rodolphe was an excellent guide! He was very friendly and easy to talk to, very knowledgeable about the wines, region, history and current news about Bordeaux and Saint Emilion. Our visit was heavily improved by having him as a guide. Additionally he knew a little bit of Spanish and made us feel very welcome as soon as we met him, he answered to each one of our questions and gave us additional information.

This was a wonderful day out. Colmar is stunning at Christmas and the villages of Riquewihr and Eguisheim were breathtaking. The van was comfortable. The guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Alsace region, coming for a small village. The tour allows for plenty of time to explore, shop, eat and drink at the Christmas Markets. Cash is needed at most markets, so be prepared. You do not want to spend time looking for an ATM. The train stations in both Strasbourg and Colmar are a bit far from the central areas so this tour makes more sense. The guide provided history and fun facts about Alsace. He also went out of his way to locate things guests asked about; Starbucks cups and t shirts for example. This is probably among our top 10 experiences. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another tour with this company. Do this, you wont regret it. Peggy USA

The whole tour was absolutely fascinating. Our tour guide Max, was outstanding, his knowledge was amazing from start to finish. He was caring and addressed all of our needs. The castle at the end of the tour, required alot of steps. One of member of our group was 85 years old and with Max's encouragement and time management she was able to reach the top. We would highly recommend this tour

We started the tour without being told what the route would be; the first stop was at a gingerbread shop, for some reason. She didn't explain any history about the towns and only took us to Colmar and Riquevihr. If we had skipped the first stop, the trip would have been much more worthwhile. Si nos hubièramos ahorrado la primera parada, nos hubiera cundido más el viaje. This was a great day trip! Our guide adapted it a little so that we didn’t get packed in like sardines in really busy towns (due to the Christmas markets), which worked excellently, and we still got to see all of the highlights. It was a very foggy day too, which made for incredible views from the castle! Learnt a lot and really enjoyed the day. :)
