Although I was the only participant, Ophorus made every effort to operate the tour. Michael kept me informed promptly, and thanks to the team’s flexibility, the tour went ahead as planned. Visiting Beynac, La Roque-Gageac, and Domme, together with the Dordogne River cruise, was one of the highlights of my trip to France. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, and I learned so much about the history and culture of the Dordogne region. During the free time in each village, the guide also gave clear and thoughtful instructions about the meeting points and schedules, making the tour easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. I sincerely appreciate the attentive care and excellent guidance throughout the day. Thank you very much for making this such a memorable experience. Rudolph is a very engaging, funny and super knowledgeable tour guide!! He took us to Château de Siren & Château de Ferrier and both were amazing to visit and taste. Especially the tour at Chateau de Siren the history of the generations and mini museum was incredible.

Francesco was an outstanding tour leader: professional, friendly, supportive, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made every effort to ensure we had a memorable experience and always felt well looked after. Even though the tour could accommodate up to eight people, only the two of us booked at the last minute. Rather than cancelling or scaling back the experience, Francesco made us feel special and provided a personalised tour. The villages we visited and places we went and we wouldn’t know about if not for his recommendation, were stunning, full of charm and character, and are an absolute must-see. Highly recommended! PS: We learned a lot of details about wines and wine making process because of his wealth of knowledge and experience.

I joined a half day burgundy wine tour by Valentin. We were a group of 4 from different countries. This was my second time joining this tour and I think it was even better than my first time. Valentin’s knowledge of Burgundy wines and wineries, the way he explains so all in the group can understand, and his passion for making the experience memorable is amazing. The air conditioned van was a huge plus in the heatwave!

We had a fantastic time on our day trip. Manon, our tour guide, was incredibly friendly and did a great job of showing us the beauty of the region. She made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of, and even made an additional stop for us in Cassis just so we could check out a store we didn't get a chance to visit earlier. The boat tour was amazing, and the wine tasting was a lot of fun. It was great to have free time in Cassis and we had lots of fun walking around town and checking out the various shops and bistros. Manon also gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit and restaurants for Aix and Marseilles which was very much appreciated. Thank you very much for the tour, we had a fantastic time and can't wait to come back 😊 Aamir and Aliyah

Rigtig god oplevelse i Alsace

Vi var på en god og givende tur med vores guide Léa. I løbet af den otte timer lange dag, var vi forbi tre forskellige vingårde, nogle traditionelle, andre konventionelle. Derudover gik vi adskillige gåture gennem nogle af Alsace’ smukke byer, hvor Léa gav os god historisk indsigt i Alsaceregionen. Rigtig fin oplevelse, rigtige gode vine.

We had an absolutely fantastic day touring three vineyards in Saint-Émilion with Hélène, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. From the moment we met her, she was incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming, making us feel completely at ease. Her knowledge of the Saint-Émilion region, its history and, of course, its wines were exceptional. She explained everything in a way that was both fascinating and easy to understand, whether you were new to wine or already an enthusiast. What really made the day special was Hélène’s personality. She was genuinely entertaining, with a great sense of humour and plenty of interesting stories that brought the region to life. The perfect balance of education and fun meant the day flew by, and we came away having learned so much while thoroughly enjoying every minute. If you’re looking for a private guide in Saint-Émilion, Hélène is outstanding. She made our visit unforgettable, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone wanting a friendly, informative and thoroughly enjoyable wine tour.
