A fantastic day trip!

Julie our guide and driver was both engaging and professional from the very first minute. Her extensive knowledge of Bordeaux and the Bordeaux vineyards and wine was clear very quickly. Julie was an excellent driver - it is less than an hour to the first wine-tasting chateau and the other two places were in Saint Emilion. A gorgeous little medieval village well worth the visit. We never felt rushed, learnt a huge amount and enjoyed ourselves enormously ! Thank you very much Julie !

Iconic Place to Visit

It was a long ride in a van from Bayeux that we shared with three other travelers. Our driver, Valentine, was informative along the pleasant journey. Thankfully, he advised us to consider purchasing sandwiches for lunch, which we did, before entering the lower level of the cathedral…. This was a wise decision. Valentine turned us loose with our tickets. Up and up we went along narrow cobblestone paths and stairs. We weren’t prepared for the huge number of people with the same idea! But we trudged on slowly. The 360 degree view was outstanding. The interior structures were barren but the architecture was interesting. Restaurants & souvenir shops lined the lower level and were packed with long lines. Thanks to Valentine for looking out for us…. Glad we went, bucket list adventure completed.

We had such a good time on our tour. Maggie is the BEST!! She has so much knowledge and respect over the different war zone sites we saw. You will not be disappointed!

Leisurely and Informative

The tour guide Cammile was absolutely amazing. Very informative and talked the whole time. I love that we got to stop in at Cassis for 2hours for lunch, understanding that lunch is a busy time made sure to point out favourite spots beforehand and let us go to them before every spot was filled. Ideally I would have done a different wine tasting as the one we visited felt a little rushed, but is at no fault to our guide. Overall great experience!

Great Tour!

My wife and I ended up with a private tour with Alain as our guide. Even though the tour accomodates eight people, we were impressed that the tour went ahead even with only two people. Alain went out of his way to make the tour as interesting and informative as possible, even stopping at an unscheduled spot memorializing American troops in World War II. He clearly knew the history and details for everything we saw and we highly recommend this tour.

Carol did our wine tour...

Carol did our wine tour and educated us on the region, terrain and grapes being grown in the area. We stopped at one winery for a complete tour and proceeded to another for a tasting. She was a very good communicator and kept everyone engaged.

Great Experience!

We had a great experience! Pick up was smooth and seamless and Benoit was a knowledgeable and kind guide. We highly recommend going to Lascaux cave and Sarlat is an amazing town to stay and explore the area. Also highly recommend taking the canoe down the Dordogne river if the weather is warm.
