We did a tour from Sarlat-la-Caneda to Rocamadour Village. Benoit was our tour guide/driver and was very knowledgeable and engaging. As there were only 4 of us in the group, it was easy to ask questions and listen to Benoit. The afternoon was thoroughly enjoyable and great value for money.

Alex was a wonderful guide – professional, knowledgeable, warm and friendly with a nice sense of humor. He took us to two different vineyards— one very modern and one much older, but both with delicious wines.

Fantastic half day tour to Caracassonne. Sophie was an excellent driver and guide. The guided tour of Carcassonne lasted around 75 minutes after which we could explore on our own (or have a coffee!) for 45 minutes. The history is fascinating and she was able to answer all of our questions. Being from Toulouse she was also able to share lots of info on Toulouse during the journey. Would recommend.

Our guide, Valentin, was knowledgeable in the extreme, and knew details of D-Day, World War II, and the French Resistance that he could have only known through a passion for learning. I recommend Ophorus Tours, they are easy to book with, and provide excellent service, and if you are touring any World War II site, I also recommend asking for Valentin by name.

We had a fantastic full day D-Day tour with our amazing tour guide Victor! We visited Pointe du Hoc, Utah Beach, Sainte-Mère-Église, Omaha Beach, and the Normandy American Cemetery. Victor provided excellent historical context and emotional insight at each site. Both on our transport rides and at the sites, Victor guided us through history. We greatly appreciated the time afforded to listening and the solitary time to observe and take everything in. Victor also discussed the region itself and the French people’s involvement with the sites. It was great learning from, and getting to know, Victor. Both Ophorus and Victor were organized and clear on instructions, the meeting points, and our available time for each site. The tour was very convenient from Bayeux and transportation was comfortable. We would highly recommend Ophorus Tours and Victor as a tour guide!

Too many people packed into van with no air flow. Small female stuffed in middle so can’t see over mens heads.

The tour was good primarily because of the tour guide Alexandre but I do think it was pretty bad value for money! over £100 per person for basically 2 glasses of wine, no food or water, despite being told how great the wine would pair with lots of food, one internal tour of a vineyard and just 30 mins drive back and forth. I wouldn’t recommend overall just based on price and value for money.

My wife and I really enjoyed the tours of Chambord and Cheninceau. It was a long day with lunch in Amboise in between. Our guide Charline was great as she narrated so much history of each place. It was just what I had hoped for.

Gut organisierte und durchgeführte Besichtigung von prähistorisch bedeutenden Orten im Perigor. Sie Transferzeiten waren durch die zugehörigen Erklärungen kurzweilig. Our guide Pascal was absolutely outstanding! Extremely knowledgeable, entertaining and thoroughly passionate about D-Day history. Highly recommended as a way to visit Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, and the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial and get the full story of D-Day! Couldn’t have been happier!
