Trip was interesting. Jerome shared a lot of great information about the area. Only concern was that the most strenuous part of the outing was at the end and several people were not able to go to the castle. It should have been noted that this was not for anyone with a disability. Would have been fun to have ended with a winery visit instead.

St Emilion Wine Full Day Tour. Our Guide Guy Benfield was extremely knowledgeable and informative having lived in France for 27 years. We visited 3 vineyards and were left to have 90 minutes for lunch after he recommended a few good restaurants. The rest of our party were good friendly people from USA and Philippines. One of the best tours I have done. Food in Table 38,Saint Emilion was excellent. Formidable!

The tour was exactly as it was advertised and it was perfect. Our guide, Alain, was attentive, sensitive, and very knowledgeable - a true gentleman. He used his intimate familiarity of the region to tailor the tour a bit to suit our interests. We feel like we had an introduction to the rue du vin and the region near Colmar that we would not have been able to manage ourselves in the limited time we had. A small guided all-day tour such as this one was definitely worth it.

The 4-hour half day tour felt comprehensive and moved along well. Our guide kept us well informed all along the way and, though some of my party were concerned in advance about the four hour duration, they all ended up loving the experience. While this half day tour visits "only" 3 principal sites: Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc and the American Military Cemetery, it provides an impactful and excellent summary experience for those wishing to understand the D-Day landings. For sure, there are much longer and detailed tours available for those with the time and interest, but I would at least recommend supplementing the half-day version with a visit to one of the many museums in the area for additional background. In our case, we spent a couple hours before our tour at the Musee du Debarquement in Arromanches.

Anne was a lovely, knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humor. Winery stops were good choices with nice wine and ambience. Van was comfortable. The company was also very easy to work with and flexible with a refund when two in our group had a last minute change of plans. We have used this company 4 times now and always found it to have great guides and great service.

What a wonderful tour to Luberons Villages starting at Aix-en-Provence! Camille was extraordinaire — friendly, knowledgeble, organized, informative, and warm. The three villages (plus the ruins at La Coste) were SO different. I felt like I had picked the perfect way to see life in three very different small town. The variety of market day in Gordes, the lunch and hike in Roussillons and adorable Lourmarin leisure were perfectly balanced. Camille speaks EXCELLENT English and took the time to meet everyone on the trip and answer all our questions. I highly recommend this tour for EVERYONE.

Rain didn’t stop a great time!

Our guide, Ines, from Orpheus, was amazing. It was scheduled to pour most of the day - not great for 1) being on a small boat (12 capacity) or 2) seeing gorgeous scenery. She flipped our schedule so we got on the first boat of the day and we were able to see 3 calanques before the downpour began. Despite the rain we all had a great time. We grabbed an early lunch and were able to get to the cliff-top during a break in the weather and got some great shots. The vineyard we were supposed to visit got flooded so they cancelled. Ines reached out to other vineyards and was able to book us a tasting, but they cancelled at the last minute! Ines reached out to the museum of civilization in Marseille and got us tickets for the Cosquer underwater cave recreation, which was very interesting and something none of our tour group knew about beforehand. So, it wasn’t the day we were expecting, but Orpheus and Ines made sure we didn’t get short-changed and we all had a great time. In fact, one couple, there with some family, got engaged on the boat in the pouring rain! On some level, it’s about the attitude you bring with you to every day, isn’t it? Oh, and Ines’ lunch recommendation was spot on!

No visit, seems I’ll be charged

I cannot cancel this September 18 trip on TripAdvisor even though it was canceled by the tour operator and I also canceled with TripAdvisor before I left for France. Now TripAdvisor says it’s a go and wants to charge me, and I get an error message when I go to the cancel page. Now I’m irritated with both the tour provider and TripAdvisor.
