The two winery stops were excellently chosen: we received a warm welcome and were treated to the very best of the vineyards' 'white gold.' Just had a great afternoon with Rudolpho and others visiting the beautiful St Emilion village and vineyards. He was extremely knowledgeable about wines etc and has a passion for making people relax and learn more about wines. Was a great guide and made for a fabulous afternoon.

The 2 Paleolithic sites and the National museum were absolutely amazing. A mixture of ancient and Medieval human history. The cave paintings recreated at Lascaux IV are extraordinary.

Did a half day tour of WW2, D-Day sites at Normandy and it was masterfully conducted by Matt the tour guide. He's witty, extremely articulate and very well informed. If you are thinking of touring Normandy, go with Matt. You can't go wrong

Met promptly by the lovely Lea then off to our first stop, Chateau Labert - a mix of tradition & futuristic & naturally, glorious wines. Onto St Emilion for lunch & a wander, s stunning setting of beauty. Two more wine tastings in smaller locations, both being traditional, interesting & again, fabulous wines! Our day was completed with a friendly game of ‘guess the smell’ which was a laugh. A long, enjoyable day of good wine, good company & a great guide! Thank you Lea!

My husband and I felt privileged and thankful to be on Thierry’s afternoon wine tasting tour in Alsace ~ privileged because of the enthusiasm, authenticity, knowledge, personality, hospitality, thoughtfulness, professionalism, and fascination of being chauffeured and guided by Sommelier Thierry ~ nonstop engagement, education, and introduction to the regional history of Alsace, a crash course from its native gentleman ~ and thankful because of the sweet couple from Mexico who shared the tour, access to two exceptional AB Grand Cru vintners/wines, and the fantastic overview of this unique region. I recommend that you book this tour at the beginning of your stay, because you will appreciate Alsace and get more from your visit if you are equipped with all the generous insight from Thierry. He escorted us in a comfortable Mercedes and even dropped us off at our hotel. Perhaps it seems expensive at first, but afterwards you think what a bargain! There are tour guides and then there is Thierry ~ he doesn’t read reviews, but you do, because you want to make the most of your time, money, and energy so I hope this helps. Allez, on y va!

My wife and I have been on a lot of wine tours over the past few decades. Today was one of the best. We learned new things, and we learned to love the Alsace wine region. Our host, Thierry, was one of the best guides we’ve ever had. I highly recommend this Tour.
