Highlights of St Émillion

Small group of eight. Guide was helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. Wineries were very nice, yet different. Experience of walking through the village of St Émillion was unique—like going back in time. All the wines were superb. Did not have time to visit the 800 wineries in the grand cru appellation.

Only worrh it if can get one hour alone time in village

Just make sure you know that you don't get inside the castle at all. There is no time to walk on the rampparts either. You get a little time to walk through the village with the guide and take a few pictures. Out alone time was cut short because we were waiting for another person to show up for at least twenty minutes! Then when we were supposed to have an hour on our own to explore this was cut down to half an hour!! We should not have been punished for another guest, not showing up on time. We were all very disappointed and especially me ,since I've always ever wanted to go to Carcassonne ,and because I won't be back to France again☹️

Beautiful Alsace and wonderful wine!

We enjoyed a wonderful wine tour. Our guide, Pauline, was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. She not only guided us to three unique wineries, she made sure we had an opportunity to visit several charming villages in Alsace along the way. I heartedly recommend this tour, and would book it again.

Alsace at its best - a great guided tour by Carlos

Carlos was a great guide. His commentary on all things Alsace was informative and entertaining throughout the tour - especially the little detours to see fantastic views, special sights and, of course, any stork chicks that happened to be in residence. The three wineries were an excellent sample of the variety in Alsace. Carlos had also arranged for us to taste two Grand Crus - an unexpected and superb treat. The Alsace wine trail is such a beautiful area, we definitely recommend this full day tour.

We had a great experience with Anne. She is very knowledgeable, and we learned so much! In addition, she went above and beyond to make sure our experience was exceptional.

Our guide was very friendly and had good driving skills. Two chateaus were gorgeous. When I was trying to get back to the van the heavy rain started and I didn’t have an umbrella. I also got confused which van was ours. There were 6,7 similar color similar size vans in the parking lot and I had to go one by one while being soaking wet down to my shoes. By the time I finally find our van I was about to cry. All this time our guide was sitting inside of the van. If I was a professional guide I’d stand outside of the van with a big umbrella and wave to each client until collecting everyone especially in the bad weather like today. That’s not too much to ask.

Great tour, even for a total novice like me. It was a field visit with a museum visit and got to taste some very nice wines. I wish we had not receive exactly the same info 3 times. The guide should know what the cellar door sommeliers are going to talk about, and they should give the customers different information.

We were immensely pleased with this all-day tour to 3 wineries on the Alsace route des vins. Our guide Alan, an Alsace native, was wonderful. He is obviously passionate about wine and was a constant source of good information. He was warm and welcoming, and made the day fun. The tastings were extensive - 5 or 6 wines at each stop. Compared to wine tastings we’re used to at home, these were very relaxed and leisurely. At 2 of the 3 stops we were hosted by a member of the family. I would definitely recommend this tour to friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Saint Emilion and the wine tastings at three different chateaux. Our guide, Dulce, was very personable and knowledgeable about the region and made the experience one of the highlights of our visit to Bordeaux. I would recommend the tour to anyone interested in wine and the Bordeaux region.

She thoughtfully allowed us as much time as we needed to purchase items, take photos and even offered to take photos of us, as well as giving good advice about how best to enjoy our free time in St. Emilion.
