Excellent Médoc Wine Tour – Highly Recommended

We had a very enjoyable wine tour in the Médoc. Our guide was excellent—friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable about the region and its wines. He spoke very good English and explained everything clearly, including the history of the Médoc, the different appellations, the vineyards and the wines we tasted. I particularly appreciated the relevant facts and insights he shared, which made the tour both interesting and informative without being overwhelming. The winery visits and tastings were very well organised, and the whole experience gave us a much better understanding and appreciation of Médoc wines. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Bordeaux region and wanting to learn more about Médoc wines.

The best guide and explanation by Hugo!

Good explanation on the winery, the guide is 200% good! Hugo is the best! Plus we did not want to expend all day in tour wine. 4 hours was enough for me on the Margaux wine.

Unbelievably Amazing! Matt was the best guide we've ever experienced!

An unbelievably amazing D-Day experience...made the "BEST EVER TOUR" by our incredible guide Matt! The "behind the scene" stories that we had never heard, the passion with which Matt shared each and every event, etc., it all made our half day tour with Matt the best overall tour experience we have ever had! (And we have been living in France for teh last 10 months, going on many). We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the experience...and requesting Matt is a MUST!

This tour was our favorite part of visiting Bordeaux. Our guide was awesome- very knowledgeable about the area, wine and is a fun guy! There were only 4 of us, so it was personal and fantastic!

2 small wineries (hidden gems) we would never have visited - the wines were amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the vehicle was very comfortable

We did a half day vineyard tour to Châtau Bellevue outside Bordeaux. We were collected in an air conditioned mini bus and dropped back to the same spot. Very central spot in Bordeaux. Our tour guide Dulce was one of the best guides I've ever had, she had a deep understanding of the history of the local village, the vineyard, the surrounding areas. She has such a great vibe, answered all questions and had us all laughing. Honestly she's just fantastic. We enjoyed it so so much.

We had a wonderful experience on the Alsace wine tour with Ophorus. We have joined winery tours in several countries, and this was honestly one of the best. Carlos was an exceptional guide — warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable about wine and the Alsace region. He also took us to a few beautiful viewpoints and charming villages along the way, which made the day even more special. We also loved the wineries we visited. Everyone was welcoming, the selection of wines was excellent, and each winery had its own character, making every tasting interesting and enjoyable. The whole tour felt relaxed and personal, never rushed or overly commercial. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Strasbourg. We highly recommend this tour and would absolutely join another Ophorus tour if we return — hopefully with Carlos as our guide again!

We had Jérome for our afternoon tour of Medoc and he was absolutely incredible. Would highly recommend anyone visiting to either St Émilion or Medoc to go with him as he’s tremendously knowledgeable and very friendly.

We had a very interesting, informative and sometimes amusing time with Jerome this morning. Hi English speech and understanding was excellent and made the whole group of mixed nationalities relaxed and included. His knowledge and stories were excellent giving the tour a well balanced feel just like some of the wine we drank. We were welcomed at the vinyard with well chilled and refreshing glass of Rose wine and the hostess was charming.

We did the half day tour to saint-Emilion and stopped at Chateaux Bellevue. It was a great little winery allowing you to see the wine making process along with a very edu auto al wine tasting. The town of Saint-Emilion was brilliant but it would be great to spend more time there, which u can do as there is a train back to Bordeaux. Jerome was a great guide and very knowledgeable about everything.

Rodolphe was most educational and entertaining !!! The trip was amazing too !!! Just enough interesting information and facts about the wine region for a fabulous morning. Saint Emilion is beautiful and romantic. Would recommend - but make sure you ask for Rodolphe 😂
