An iconic building that must be visited whilst in New York There was a school holiday camp there whilst we were, which did mean areas were over run with approx 30 children, which was a shame We still enjoyed the overall experience The museum was great to look around The views at the top are fabulous At the top. Had a freshly piped cannoli with chocolate chips, delicious The lady serving us could have been friendlier Had to buy a couple of mementos at the gift shop Would definitely recommend

If your hotel is within 20 min walk of this place, i encourage you to walk it if you're able. It was beautiful. So well organized and not busy in the day time. We went at noon on a monday. Staff were accommodating. I sported a broken foot the entire Vacation (still is), and they saw me limping and offered me a wheelchair. Be prepared to undergo security checks. There is value in this cost and it was a worthy experience. Not nearly as expensive but delivered the same experience as the summit 1 Vanderbilt

If you want to be on the...
If you want to be on the deck for sunset, plan on getting there earlier due to the museum sections taking time, so you don't miss sunset! (Great addition, by the way! When I was here years ago, the museum/ building stages part didn't exist!)

Too tall.
I didn't like how tall it was, and the only good part was that I ended up buying Dr. Pepper in the gift shop, but even then, it was over $5 and exploded when we opened it.
