VIP Premium Experience Tour. Seeing it all with new eyes: includes 86th, 102nd and many historical insights
We visited the Empire State Building the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and we did the VIP Premium Experience Tour. From entering the lobby, to the warm welcome on every floor and hallway, we had such a wonderful time, and it was made special by our tour guide, Gerard. He had such a passion for the history of the building -- the marble details on the walls, the rivets in the support beams, up to the ceiling artwork. I could go on, but I think if you're considering the guided tour, you should try it. My sister, aunt and I had all visited the Empire State Building decades ago when only the 86th floor was open. And this trip was really special for us, because it wasn't just a trip up and a trip down, it was a getting to know the when and why of the building. My 4 year old son enjoyed King Kong and really got on well with Gerard, who had so much patience with the different energies in the group. Thank you for an amazing time! A must see in nyc, although this is self guided
Self guided tour- I think probably you can buy the same ticket at the empire state itself without coming through an agent- the only thing I’d advise is going early, it got very busy as we were leaving ( around 10.30am)- took about an hour an a half- we went to the 102nd floor which gave us breathtaking views- we did have a lovely clear day though.

Amazing skyline
Amazing skyline views from the observation deck. Wait times can be long, but skip-the-line tickets help. Prices are high yet worth it. Overall, a classic New York experience with unforgettable panoramas.

Don’t visit on Thanksgiving Day!
My family had a great visit. The timing of going Thanksgiving Day was not a good idea as it was packed. Our original tickets were a couple of days prior to that but had to be changed due to the weather.

Ho fatto questa esperienza martedì 26/11, cercando di prenotare in tempo utile per godere del tramonto in quota. Vi lascio qualche info utile per non sbagliare, come è capitato a me. Ho prenotato per le ore 16:00 ma è troppo tardi. Ora che si fa la coda all'ingresso, poi vi fanno entrare, un percorso con immagini e modellini, una videoproiezione, alla fine siamo arrivati in quota che era buio...quindi consiglio che vi do: se volete vedere il tramonto prenotate la visita alle 15:00, una volta che siete su potete prendervi anche un po' di tempo in più. per il resto vista spettacolare, da rimanere a bocca aperta.

This building is amazing. If you love movies related to it, especially King Kong, you will really enjoy this experience. They have added new features and continue to update and add more. I love it!

L'Empire
Da molti considerato il vero cuore di New York. Noi che ci eravamo già saliti nel nostro precedente viaggio a New York questa volta ci siamo limitati ad osservarla dall’esterno, anche perché i prezzi attuali non invitano a bissare. Ma per chi arriva in città per la prima volta è un must davvero imperdibile.

Fast pass was an expense which was not needed. No one told us whete to go and ended up in the regular queue which to be fair was relatively steady.

Museum is almost as good as the view
The museum was an unexpected highlight, with very interesting information and displays. Don't bother upgrading to the 102nd floor, it's an upsell and a waste of money - the view is exactly the same. The 86th floor with the outdoor deck is as good as it gets.

Thanksgiving Day
We decided to do the observation deck on Thanksgiving morning. We went at 11:30. It was a little hard to get to the building because of the road closures for the Macy’s parade. It was not too crowded. We really enjoyed the historical exhibits they have as you wind your way through line. The 86 floor was gorgeous. We tried to upgrade to the 102 floor but they were already sold out. If you’re interested in going to the 102nd floor, it would be good to book that with your original ticket.

Brilliant!
Brilliant, such an iconic New York City landmark. The exhibits within the tower leading up to the observation deck and so well set out and teach you a lot about the history of the building.
