Food and tour were great! I loved how small and local and tasty everything was. Going to places that have been around for a long time or that invented the certain type of street food made it extra special and Melissa put in a bunch of other fun activities and tidbits of info in between food places so we still had space in our bellies to eat before the next location! The group was pretty small too so it was easy to talk to everyone. I definitely recommend Melissa and this tour!

For the Shinesekai Osaka Food Tour Easiest 5 star review, all because of our Tour Guide Natsumi. Not only were the food stops fantastic, she offered the perfect combination of history, culture, personal and local tidbits that really let us get to know the area and Japan as a whole. She was so friendly and open with us while being professional and informative. Really one of my favourite food tours ever.

Easiest 5 star review, all because of our Tour Guide Natsumi. The Title doesn’t match the Tour

Our tour guide, Raqel, was absolutely wonderful—warm, kind, and spoke excellent English. We give her our very best recommendation. However, based on the title of the tour, we expected the matcha experience to be the main highlight. In reality, it made up only about one-third of the trip. A large portion of the tour was spent walking around the area and visiting temples, something we could have done on our own. The Japanese lunch, included at a small and charming restaurant, was excellent. When we finally arrived at the matcha shop, we met a delightful staff member who taught us how to prepare our own matcha tea, which was both fun and educational. Overall, while there were enjoyable parts, we recommend that the organizers adjust the tour to better reflect the description so that it is worth the money.

We tried the 'Ginza all star' tour our second day in Japan with our amazing tour guide Kaz. We got to see some hidden gems of Ginza that we wouldn't otherwise have seen or known about with delicious foods and rich history. We also got to hear a lot about japanese history and culture along with some practical information about japanese costums. Our guide was very welcoming and helpful and definitely added to a already amazing experience. We would definitely recommend this experience for anyone interested in getting an authentic food experience in Ginza with amazing service and some interesting stories to go along with the food.
