- The names provided at the time of the booking cannot be changed.
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- The meeting time is subject to change. In this case, you will be contacted in advance via email
- Tours will run rain or shine (unless the monument is closed by the officials for safety reasons)
- There are mandatory security checks at all entry points to the sites. The wait time for the security check can be considerable during peak times/seasons and has nothing to do with the ticket line
- Toilets are limited, use the toilet before arriving for the tour. (Breaks made when possible)
- No weapons (pocket knives), glass bottles or large backpacks
- Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or late arrivals. If you are late to the meeting point, you will not be able to join your tour.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- The itinerary may vary, the tour may start at either the Colosseum or the Roman Forum.
- Audio Guide Option (if selected): Please ensure each traveler brings their own device and headphones.

If you're going to have a guided tour make sure you pay extra for a physical guide!!
Firstly we visited the Forum, upon arrival at the meeting point there was no one there to meet us as stated there would be. We had to ask another tour operator who kindly gave us directions. Upon arrival we were told to visit the forum and Palatine Hill first as we weren't due to visit the coliseum until 1:00pm (our tickets clearly stated 11:00am). We were also asked to bring headphones on the day of our tour via email as there was no physical guide.. just a pre-recorded one to listen to. We did not bring headphones. It was sometimes difficult to know whether or not we were standing in the right spot to get the most out of the audio guide as it was a bit vague to say the least. The coliseum was especially confusing and we did not get the best out of the guide. It was more useful eavesdropping other tour guides. Sadly we did not have the best experience.
Bad Experience
Do not book this tour. Completely unorganized, the meeting point contact was not helpful. Didn’t care if we were there or not. Didn’t offer any information other than point towards the Colosseum and say go that way. I booked a 2pm time slot but our tickets when we were given them had a 4 o’clock time-slot. I specifically reached out and said can I go to the Colosseum at 2 o’clock if I book a 2 o’clock and the tour operator said yes. The information was completely wrong. We never had our tickets sent to us via email. We checked in literally in a vacant lot. We were told our guide would be here at 2 o’clock. Meanwhile, the meeting point guide contact was standing all by himself waiting for people to approach him and was not proactive at all. Would not recommend this tour at all.
Disappointing tour
We could not easily find our meeting point at 8:30 am due to construction. Other people were having difficulty as well. Then we were told we had to wait until 9:45 for our actual tour of coliseum. When we went to listen to audio guide that we downloaded it wouldn’t work. I did send an email re: this but we got it way after we left the tour. On completion of the coliseum tour the line to do the hill and ruins was so long and it was so hot- we just left. A disappointing tour for sure!
Guided tour of Roman forum and palatine hill
What a great tour! Our guide was outstanding. Very knowledgable and engaging. Definitely worth the time.
Total bummer
Sadly, the tour group isn’t allowed in the colosseum, so we didn’t have a guide for the main event which was why we hired a guide in the first place.
