This is easily the BEST way to experience the Cliffs of Moher from Galway. Meeting in Galway, a small group of no more than 8 will make their way via our private transportation to the village of Doolin. From there you will walk with our local guide to the Cliffs of Moher. This route is breathtaking and brought to life with the help of your captivating guide. The guide will tell you the untold stories about the cliffs while taking you to the most picturesque spots along the way. The hike ends at the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Center however, we organize a taxi for everyone back to Doolin for some free time. The taxi costs €20 minimum or €5pp if there are 4 or more people on the tour. You can pay this directly to the taxi man on the day. At approximately 3:30 pm, you will be driven back to Galway in our private transportation. You will arrive back in Galway at approximately 5pm.

  • Entry fee to the Cliffs of Moher Visitor center
  • Air-conditioned vehicle
  • €5 taxi fee who transports you back to Doolin after the hike. This is paid directly to the taxi man.
  • Tips are appreciated, but never expected! If your guide does a great job, feel free to tip!

Great hiking tour experience!

Ollie's tours just might be the best in Ireland. We did the Cliffs of Moher hiking tour. I highly recommend our tour guide Murph. He was kind, funny, knowledgeable, and everything you would want in a guide. The hike itself was incredible. The weather changed every 5 minutes, so bring a rain jacket. The views you get on the hike are not available at the visitors center. The pace was flexible and took into consideration places to stop all along the way. We were picked up in Galway, but several participants joined the hike in Doolin. We had lunch in Doolin after the hike. Murph will make sure you choose the best place based on what youre in the mood for. Ollie, Murph, and Freya were constantly making sure all the guests were take care of throughout the day.

Fantastic!

We had an extraordinary day: our guide Murph is a passionate person who takes the care to explain the history, the anecdotes, the fauna and the flora of the region. Thanks to him we were able to have access to incredible landscapes. Thanks to him and to Ollie for this superb day (and we were entitled to premium Irish weather: a lot of wind and a little rain ;-)

Our hike to the cliffs...

Our hike to the cliffs was phenomenal! Our guide, Phil, was friendly, informative, and kept us laughing the whole trip. The actual hike (really just more of an uphill walk) was very manageable and offered unreal views along the way. We can’t imagine experiencing the cliffs any other way and are truly grateful for this experience :)
