Once in a lifetime experience
What an amazing experience on the 4 day Inka trek to Machu Picchu. Our guides Javier and Wilber were exceptional, their knowledge and charisma made the trip. The whole team went above and beyond for our group. Would highly recommend.
Excellent 10/10
Used Alpaca for our four day hike to Machu Picchu. We had guides Javier and Wilber and they made the trip incredibly entertaining and comfortable. All four days were magnificent despite some trouble with weather on day two, we ended the final two days with gorgeous blue skies and excellent views. Grateful for the well rounded experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better group or better guides. Additionally, the food was incredible! Thanks to Chef Alex and his crew, our group was well fed with incredible hot meals that were authentic Peruvian dishes. The food was even better than the restaurants we tried in Cusco! We want to come back and do more hikes with Alpaca and if you are looking to book a hike I would advise you go through this company as well. Ask for Javier and Wilber, so much fun!!

Trip of a lifetime
I can’t begin to tell you how great Alpaca Expeditions runs a tour. Everyone from the amazing porter, the chef who made great meals to our amazing tour guides Bernie and Ever. It is an experience I will never forget and they made it a trip of a lifetime. I couldn’t recommend them more!
A journey through an ancient civilization
The Inca trail 4-day trek is certainly a mental and physical challenge, our guides Jimmy and Walter were excellent , supported all the participants to fulfill this journey in their own way . Our trail lead us along various very interesting historic Inca sites , leading us to our final destination Machu Picchu . The surrounding nature , wth very interesting plant species was impressive. A sky full of stars at night ! Being part of this serene surrounding was very special. This would not have been possible without the perfect organisation of Alpaca Expeditions, so much preparation went into 4-day trek, the cook Alfredo made fantastic meals. Special thanks to all the porters who made sure that all the essentials were arriving at the camp sites.
