Join us as we reveal the secrets and uniqueness of one of the greatest indoor food markets. Discover why the OREO COOKIE was invented in this building in 1912. Enjoy artisanal foods including; an artisanal NY hot dog from Dickson’s, Sicilian Pizza from Filaga, NY State Cheeses from Saxelby’s, a delicious Italian Crostata from Buon Italia, a Japanese inspired Taco from Takumi Taco, Buttermilk Biscuit and Homemade Jam from Sarabeth’s, Gelato from L’arte Del Gelato, and always something special from Chelsea Market Baskets.

Once outside, walk on the HIGH LINE, NYC’s elevated outdoor park. You’ll love hearing tales of the High Line trains that once served the butchers below the tracks as you wander through THE MEATPACKING DISTRICT. Find out how this area went from NOT to HOT!

This tour includes 7 tastings on-the-go and 1 seated tasting. Tastings vary based on day of the week and tours times.

Walking on The Highline is WEATHER PERMITTING for safety reasons. 98% of tours DO walk on The Highline. 2% of tours will only view The Highline.

TICKET INFORMATION: You may present your tickets on any smartphone or use the link below to print them. If you are unable to access your tickets ahead of your experience, please plan to provide a piece of identification when you arrive. You are NOT required to present a printed copy of your tickets to attend the experience. HELPFUL INFORMATION: • Weather Advisory: Tips and Tricks can be found here. • Participants will be on their feet and outdoors for some of the 3 hours, please wear comfortable clothing and good walking shoes. • Umbrellas on rainy days, warm layers on cold days, and cool clothing on hot days will make your experience much more enjoyable. • In-person purchases or any last minute additions cannot be accommodated. All tickets must be purchased in advance. FOOD & DRINK
- There are enough food tastings served that, for most people, lunch afterwards is not needed.
- In an effort to reduce our environmental impact, we NO LONGER PROVIDE plastic water bottles on your tour. We recommend bringing your own reusable water bottle. Sit down tasting spots during the tour will be serving water as well! TIPPING & FILMING:
- Gratuities are graciously accepted by our guides if you enjoyed the tour. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 18-20%.
- Feel free to bring cameras and video cameras. Please ask the tour guide before video taping. We do not encourage video taping the entire tour.
