Additional Information

Y'all, you hear that noise? That's us in the Atlanta Food Walks office cheering YOU. We're getting amped up and ready to knock your socks off.

Atlanta is a city built on food. We cannot wait to share the unexpected story of Atlanta through its food with you.

Oh, yes, details --- those are good, too:

Start Time:  Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time.  We start promptly at your ticketed start time.

Starting Point:  We will meet outside Paschal's at 180 Northside Drive SW, Atlanta, GA.

End Point: THE END POINT IS NOT THE SAME AS THE START POINT!  The tour ends at Sweet Auburn Curb Market located at 209 Edgewood Avenue, Atlanta, GA, which is 2 miles from our Starting Point.  Our guests choose a variety of options after the tour is finished:

You may choose to take an Uber or Lyft back to the starting point and our guides will help you obtain one. It should cost approx. $6-10 depending on the size of your group.

You may also go to Ebenezer Baptist Church or the King Memorial, which are within a 5 minute walk from the End Point, or to take the Streetcar ($1 per person) to the Georgia Aquarium/Coke Museum area.

Parking: Please park in the parking lot at Paschal's across the street on Fair Street. We love you so we have already paid for your parking on Fair Street even on game days. (Please do not park in the valet lot at Paschal's. We don't want you to get towed.)

What To Wear:  Comfortable shoes and comfortable casual clothing that is suitable to the weather.  Extra cash for the return trip and to purchase souvenirs.

Gratuities: Our guides exude Southern hospitality and if you have a wonderful time on your tour, gratuities are always warmly accepted and appreciated. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15%.

What To Bring:  A bottle of water and an umbrella, in case of rain.

Timing: We do our best to keep your tour running on schedule but, occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, our tours end at closer to the 4 hour mark rather than the 3 1/2 hour mark.  We ask that you keep this in mind as you plan your activities for the rest of the day.

Weather Conditions:  We operate rain or shine.

If You Get Lost Or Are Running Late:  Call us at 470-223-2203.
