Champadevi Day Hike

Champadevi Day Hike is one of the pleasant one day hikes, south-west of Kathmandu valley. Our actual hike begins from near Pharping after an hour drive from Kathamndu. From there we hike continuously uphill all the way to Champadevi about 3-4 hours through the lush green forest. As we get higher the view is spectacular. We see great numbers of Himalayan Peaks including Annapurna range, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Jugal Himal ramge and clear day Mt. Everest and superb view of surrounding valley. Champadevi is a small Hindu deity shrine, quite a number of Hindu pilgrimage go there to worship and Buddhist as well. After enjoying the view and rest, we walk down to the road and drive to Kathmandu.
