Worth an hour of your time
Right in the heart of Naples, this is a beautiful Royal palace. The 15 euro entrance fee gives you a glide around thirty opulent gilded rooms plus the opportunity to ascend up a stunning white marble magnificent stair case. The whole experience does take an hour - I think children will be incredibly bored. Note toilets are located up the staircase - no cafe or shop to buy souvenirs. Views from the palace are obviously stunning if you take away the industrial like works going on in the vicinity - whole area around the Palace strewn with ugly graffiti and rubbish everywhere. Oh and I meant to say that the downloadable guide for all the rooms was easy to access and short enough to be keep your attention
Guided tour of the Royal Palace of Caserta
Very detailed tour that covered all the most important things to see. Thanks to the guides Patrizia and Francisco who explained everything to us in an excellent manner, and to the driver Salvatore who took us to Caserta in very little time, with punctual schedules without having to wait for the vehicle's arrival, neither on the way there nor on the way back.

Francisco, Patrizia, and Salvatore were fantastic; Salvatore is a very good driver and very friendly, and Francisco and Patrizia are very welcoming, lively, and patient. It was a fantastic experience; Patrizia is very good at explaining and conveyed a lot of passion in what she explained to me. It was also wonderful that they knew how to speak Spanish, English, and Italian, and very well too!!!
Excellent visit to the Palace of Caserta.
Entertaining walk through different rooms of the Palace of Caserta. We had Patricia as a guide, who did an extraordinary job with her explanations.
An Italian Versailles!
We had a wonderful tour of the Caserta Royal Palace with our site guide Diana providing good explanations, pointing out highlights and answering our questions bringing the site to life. Emiliano contacted us prior to the tour to provide the location and times of pick up and supplied interesting information about Italy during our travels. We were disappointed that the palace gardens were mostly under repair and the palace bus service was irregular making our on time return to the palace area challenging. But the visit was otherwise enjoyable. And we appreciated that our driver, Giovanni, was excellent and that he also provided us cold bottled water!
