Andean traditions: make adobe bricks and textiles at the Misminay community

Make Andean textiles and adobe bricks with your own hands learning ancestral techniques with the help of locals from the Misminay community.

- At pick up the driver will ask for you at the hotel's front desk and guide you to your private transportation.

- Once in the vehicle, you will head towards Misminay, along the way you will observe charming villages and alluring lagoons.

- Upon arrival at the community, Flora and the locals will give you a warm welcome singing and playing traditional Andean instruments.

- You will make Andean textiles with local women from the community, they will teach you ancestral techniques from start to end: dying using natural pigments, threading, and textile designs.

- You will construct adobe bricks mixing mud and hay and then model the bricks with traditional molds, you will use hands and feet following an authentic Andean technique experience.

- Once the experience finishes, you will return to your hotel.
