Smooth sailing
A very smooth trip and the crew were very friendly and knowledgeable
Great experience!
We had a wonderful time. The Captains and Sam were a pleasure to be around. They told us about the history of Hilton Head and Dafauskie Island.
Just Awesome!
This was a bucket list experience that I didn't know I even had on my bucket list. in retrospect this is the second historical maritime vessel I have been on (the only other being the USS Constitution!). The weather was perfect (although the gusts were 25 to 30 mph - but fairly light chop. I had a ball at the helm! Captain Peter knows how to skipper a boat AND knows how to make everyone feel comfortable (and safe).

Our best experience on Hilton Head Island!
Our sunset cruise on the "Stars & Stripes" was fantastic. Captain Peter, along with Sam and Ashley, were a great crew. Capt. Peter (age 87) has been sailing all his life and has been in Hilton Head since the early '60s. He's watched and been involved in the development of the island for over 60 years and knows all the people and all of their stories! Sam and Ashley were fantastic mates, as well. Very helpful, courteous, and impressive sailors. We had a vivid sunset, saw dolphins, got to steer an America's Cup sailboat, and best of all, got to spend a couple of hours with Capt. Peter and his great crew. Highly recommended!!!
