Why take this tour?
This will be a comprehensive and fun private tour from your Budapest hotel, with a stop off at the pretty town of Eger on the way then to the UNESCO site of Aggtelek Cave System. The site consisting of 712 caves spread out over a total area of 55,800 ha (138,000 acres) along the border of Hungary and Slovakia. The Park Directorate organises 5 separate tours in 3 caves, among which the Baradla Cave is perhaps the most well-known. There are two sections to explore, the stunning larger Baradla Cave, as well as the two smaller Rákóczi and Imre Vass Caves; rightly considered the pearls of the national park. Your English speaking driver/guide will pick you up from your Budapest Hotel and dropp you off at your return in the evening. This is a private tour for between 1-7 people in a minibus or a car depending on the number of people. Price calculated per vehicle with entrance tickets included.
