Tour info
Why take this tour?
The Pannonhalma Benedictine Archabbey is a medieval place with one of the oldest historical monuments in Hungary, which is now a UNESCO site. Founded in 996, it is located near the town of Gyor on top of a hill, 282 m. This is the second largest territorial Abbey in the world, after the one in Monte Cassino. On your way you will be able to stop at the charming lake-side town of Tata and have a stroll, then after visiting the Abbey you will have a chance to see the baroque town of Gyor and soak up its unique atmosphere. This is a full day private tour with hotel pick up and drop off and English speaking driver/guide.
