At 10 a.m., meet your guide at your hotel in Johannesburg and board your private SUV (groups of four or fewer) or mini-coach (groups of more than four) for your 6-hour tour of the city. Throughout the tour, learn the history and legends behind key attractions from your guide, asking as many questions as you would like along the way.
Pass by landmarks including the former homes of Nelson Mandela and Mahatma Gandhi, the Carlton Centre (Johannesburg’s tallest building), Constitution Hill, and Vilakazi Street. Then, visit the Apartheid Museum (or the Hector Pieterson Museum on Mondays) to learn more about the city’s history.
When you finish your tour, get dropped off back at your hotel.
