Good to know
- Children under 5 years old, including infants who do not require a seat, are not permitted to travel. We are unable to accommodate any child under the age of 5.
- Each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase weighing no more than 33lbs (15kg) and 1 carry-on bag
- Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark
- Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.
- Please note that the Jacobite Steam Train service may be subject to alterations and cancellations at short notice, outwith our control
- It is recommended to book transport to the departure point in advance. Please also allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. We advise you arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
- It is not possible to upgrade your Standard steam train ticket to a First Class ticket
- Due to vehicle availability, there may be instances where this tour runs on a bigger bus.
- If downloading an audio guide, remember to bring your headset.
- The tour may operate with our sister company, HAGGiS Adventures.

Sophie was the icing on the cake of this spectacular 6 day tour, she is an excellent tour guide, great relaxed demeanour, excellent stories and knowledgeable re-telling of historical events, would definitely recommend both Sophie and this tour.
Amazing 6 days in the Highlands
Sophie was the best! Very knowledgeable and fun and made the trip a blast. The trip was amazingly diverse and got to see a ton of beautiful sites. Accommodations were great and Sophie made the check-ins and transportation so easy
Worth every penny
Amazing experience, small and extremely friendly group, comfy bus. Sophie was the best guide ever and had plenty of small extra stories, anecdotes and fun bits that made the whole tour just perfect.

Excellent tour and particularly because of the brilliant Sophie, who was our driver, and leader for the six days. Sophie definitely added to the whole experience. A very very relaxing holiday experience, and great locations.

Just finished Steve's 6-day tour and loved every minute. Steve made our last stop of the day at St. Columba's Isle near Portree, and I'm so glad he did. I had no idea of its significance until I discovered its connection to my Nicholson clan, which made it a really special moment. Thanks, Steve, for the wonderful memories.
