Traveler reviews
Unforgettable experience
Incredible route that is also tough, but it is worth it. The interaction with the provider is direct and decisive, everything is very clear. The guide is great, we were very lucky to have Marquito, a group leader who is fun and very well-prepared; he infects you with his enthusiasm for his culture in an energetic way. The camp is great, everything is taken care of down to the detail, drinking water is always available, good mattresses, cushions, and a very comfortable tent. The food is very good, a large quantity and excellent flavor, thanks to the magnificent chef. The 2nd day is the most intense, but every minute of the journey is worth it; the landscapes and the great company made us feel like family to achieve the goal. Thank you for this unforgettable experience.
Trek is better than destination
Marco and Frank were a great pair of Guides. Did the trip solo but had a great time getting to know everyone in the group and getting to know Marco & Frank. Tough trek (from the perspective of someone who never treks) but the porters, cooks, and guides make it enjoyable (and doable)
Inca Trail 4d
Incredible experience. The trail is beautiful! The tour provides you with the entire service so that you can complete it comfortably and arrive at Machu Picchu.
Guided beautifully along the Inca Trail
We had an amazing time on this trail. The scenery, the land, the history, the archeological sites, the waterfalls and rivers are magical and speak for themselves. But the guides, the chefs and the porters are just superb. It is humbling to see the efforts put in to facilitate our efforts! Our trekking group was made up of 9, which was quite a good size. Unfortunately I was the only non-Spanish speaking one, in a group where some didn’t speak English either, which made conversation with the group more restricted. But I did learn a little along the way! And the group itself was great. And some things don’t need translation anyway 😄 The Salkantay welcome and friendliness from all the staff throughout the trip was invaluable. Their encouragement much appreciated. Big shout out to Julio César (chef), who even managed to bake a cake in camp when he found out it was the birthday of one of our group; Evaristo (head porter), and guides Saul and Jhon - all wonderful souls, with big, kind hearts and a ready smile. Jhon and Saul’s passion for their subject is beautiful. Their explanations and guiding were the icing on the cake of the whole trail. Thank you to all the team for a very memorable trip.
Highly Recommend Inca Trail 4-day
Excellent tour. Pedro and Saul were amazing guides and our group quickly became good friends. The hike was challenging but rewarding, food was very good, information was very interesting, views were breathtaking. Highly recommend.
