1-hour Winter Dog Sledding in Fairbanks

After pickup from your Fairbanks hotel, transfer to the dog-mushing base where you can get ready in a warm cabin. Today, dog mushing is primarily for sport and hobby, but it was once the only transportation available in the snowy wilderness of Alaska.

Meet your guide and the dogs, and get bundled up in your cold-weather gear. Then take a seat in the dog sled and watch as the canine athletes work to pull your sled across the snow. Observe the dogs running through Alaska’s snow-covered landscape on this exhilarating ride. You can even take the reins for the chance to steer the sled.

After your ride, you can visit the kennel to pet some off-duty pups, then warm up in the cabin before return transfer to your hotel.
