Zeus Cave-Traditional-Villages-Old Wind Mills-Olive Oil Factory-Small Group.

This is my favorite tour in Crete because you get to see the real Crete, the old wind mills the old villages, Zeus Cave where the king of all the Greek gods was born. His mother gave birth there to hide from his father Kronos. We will see the old traditional windmills and the amazing views from an altitude of around 1000 m above sea level . Then it's off to Lasithi plateau, the biggest one in Crete . Driving through the old villages on the Lasithi plateau you feel that you are traveling back in time, like time stopped long ago.We can visit an olive oil factory ( optional ) where we learn about how olives are picked and how olive oil is made now and how they used to do it in the olden days .

There is a 15 Minute walk up hill to get to the Zeus cave and then around 150 steps to get inside the cave .
Walking up to the Cave is optional. At the bottom of the Cave is a cafeteria where you can enjoy some fresh fruit juice ,
