Xitang Water Village Sunset Tour with Riverside Dining Experience from Shanghai

This full-day private tour of Xitang Water Town starts with a pickup from your Shanghai hotel at 2:30pm.

Once you’ve been picked up from your hotel lobby, relax in the car ride over to the town. It takes about an hour and fifteen minutes in no traffic. As you ride, take in views of China’s scenery, and hear stories from your guide about the Yangtze River regions. Learn about the history and culture of these regions. Then, Stop by at Jinze Water Village where you can enjoy a 25-minute boat ride.

In Xitang Water Town, follow your guide around through alleyways as he or she shows you the town illuminated at night. You can even go through some of the same alleyways Tom Cruise did while filming Mission Impossible 3.

Your first stop is West Street, where you can spend some time shopping if you’d like (own expense). Then, enjoy dinner at a local riverside restaurant before making your way back to your vehicle. Your tour ends with a ride to your hotel. Get back to Shanghai at about 10:00p.m.

Spend a relaxing afternoon and night at beautiful Xitang Water Village to explore the ancient alleyways under the sunset, visit a local,s home, having homey made snacks, enjoy a local dinner at a tiny but best riverside restaurant, small winery tour trying flowers and fruits wine.

Icing on the cake: We offer complimentary dumpling class at our own home in Xitang, if you are interested in, please let us know. When summer comes, red dragon fruit is ready for picking, we could bring you pick up dragon fruit if you are interested in.
