The Mountain Village Wine and Food Tour is the embodiment of Vasili's dream to move to Crete and revitalize his grandfather's land. This tour takes you to the high mountains of the Lefka Ori (White Mountains) to experience village life as we do. Vasili will proudly show you his vineyards and honey bees. You'll taste his wines directly from the barrels. Blend your own wine and bottle it to take home, our gift to you. Snacks are provided to taste local Cretan products, and of course, Vasili's honey.
Next enjoy a delicious farm to table meal at Ntounia's restaurant made in ceramic pots on an open flame. You'll even see the Minoan cows!
Before heading back to Chania, a stop will be made in Theriso gorge for photography and goat spotting. Enjoy one last shot of Vasili's home made tsikoudia.
