Winemaker-Led Private Wine Tasting Tours from Franschhoek

We tailor the tour according to our client's interests in say grape varieties, styles and regions, for example, so there are no 'off the shelf' tours. Depending on where we collect you, the day starts between 9:00 - 10:00am at the client's discretion. A typical morning includes three winery visits including tastings and either a vineyard visit (summers only) and/or cellar tour (year round) at the client's request.

Depending on how long guests prefer to lunch, a typical afternoon includes two more wineries and tastings. We offer half-day tours but not half-day rates. The fee includes tastings, soft drinks and transport and excludes lunch.

Drop-off is around 5:30-6:00pm again depending on where the client's accommodation is relative to the region we visit. This, of course, can be shortened at the client's request.
