A 4-hour guided wine tour that includes grape harvesting, wine tasting and a visit to Kapsia Cave, depending on the season. Visit the first certified winery in the Peloponnese to open to the public, taste award-winning wines and discover the secrets of the Greek wine-making tradition! You’ll visit a local Estate and an organic winery located at a small village, at the foot of Mt Mainalo, in Arcadia, 100 km (60 mi) from Kalamata. Enjoy a tour of the vineyards, find out all the secrets of traditional winemaking from the experts while touring the wine cellars, discover all the different wine varieties. Immerse yourself in the deep flavours and rich aromas of the 4-6 different wine labels and discover the unique, flavoursome and aromatic petimezi (grape molasses)! Upon request, you can conclude your wine tour with a full local lunch in the village taverna or experience an amazing tour of Kapsia Cave, one of the top ten Greek caves. Located right outside the village this cave is known for its complex system of natural sinkholes.
