Wine Hopper Day Trip

Our Wine hopper trips are conducted in an open 10-seater safari-style vehicle. For inclement weather, the vehicles have drop down side panels and blankets on the seats for your comfort.

First departure is at 09:00 and then every half an hour with the last departure time being at 12:00.

Our Safaris depart from our office in Central Hermanus however a pick-up at one’s accommodation establishment may be organised in advance

Hermanus wine hoppers is a seven day a week operation with up to six different wine farms being visited dependant on the day of your trip.

Our knowledgeable guides will inform you a little bit about each wine farm along the way.  A number of wine farms offer a delicious lunch or platter for the intrepid explorer.  Pre-bookings for these are however essential, especially in our Summer season.

There will be an additional tasting room fee charge at some select wine farms which could be waivered in the event of wine purchased.  Please note that this will be a direct payment to the wine farm and is not part of the Wine Hoppers fee.

Starting from Hermanus Village Square Market on Marine Drive, our vehicles cover the Hemel-en-Aarde valley on a continuous loop. Depending on the day of the week and what time you start, you will be able to experience up to six wineries on your selected route. When you are ready to move on to the next wine farm, rest assured another Hermanus Wine Hopper vehicle will be along to pick you up every 45 minutes or so. Prepare yourself for unforgettable day of wine tasting and a world class setting
