Seal Island is home to the largest colony of Cape fur seals in the Western Cape, which can reach up to 75 000 seals. The seals, in turn, attracts Great White Sharks, however, their numbers have been on the decline and sightings are becoming very rare. A small population of African penguins are also found on the island, along with White Breasted Cormorants, Black Cormorants, Cape Cormorants, Cape Wagtails and in summer a few Turnstones may be sighted. The tours are subjected to sea conditions. The boat has ample space for you to bring along your cameras.
