Your tour starts with pickup at your hotel or at the marina in Cabo San Lucas, where you hop aboard the Buccaneer Queen pirate ship. Meet the crew, and listen to a brief introduction about the area and the whales you are likely to see—humpback and gray whales.
Then set off, heading toward the rock formations and past Lover's Beach, the Arch of Cabo San Lucas, and a sea lion colony. Your captain stops for a bit so you can take photos before speeding up as you make your way into the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez. Keep your eyes peeled for the whales who visit these Mexican waters each year to breed, and listen to commentary from an onboard guide about the behaviors and other characteristics of the animals.
While you cruise, enjoy a provided breakfast and drinks from the open bar. Your tour ends with return to your original departure point.
