The trip consists of 3 full hours spent out in the ocean; during that time you will whale watch on the way to the islands and back, cruise around the national park so you can have a closer view of the islands, check caves and birds (blue footed boobies are nesting there), snorkel and visit playa Nopalera.
At the end of the 3 hours you will be taken back to Sayulita for lunch all together at a local restaurant.
Take a half-day snorkeling tour from Sayulita to the Marietas Islands to go in search of marine life such as whales, sea turtles, birds, and colorful fish. Pass by desolate volcanic islands protected by UNESCO and swim above reefs that giant turtles and tropical fish inhabit. Between December and April, watch for the humpback whales that come to Banderas Bay and the Marietas Islands to mate and breed.
