Summary

We will pick you up from your hotel and whisk you off to our canyon, about a 20 minutes from La Fortuna. Then you'll transfer to 4x4 trucks for an exciting short drive to out ranch house to gear up. Then you are off for a morning of exciting and exhilarating waterfall rappelling, a canyon wall, Monkey drop (zip line & rappel) and rock climb all in our spectacular rainforest canyon. We then take you to our beautiful base offices and tropical gardens for a delicious, organic, Costa Rican lunch. After lunch we will drive you about 15 minutes out of town to the Rainforest Chocolate Tour. You will discover the ancient secrets of chocolate from its discovery and use in Costa Rica to the processing of the chocolate we know today. This is a "hands on" experience where you will participate in the harvesting, drying and hand grinding of the cacao seeds. You will make your own delicious traditional chocolate drink, and taste the organic chocolate you helped create! After the tour, you will have a chance to purchase various kinds of bean to bar chocolate made by chocolate artisans from around Costa Rica. Please Note: Since we are based in the rainforest, there is a possibility that it could rain at any time of year. We operate the tour rain or shine, unless weather conditions are extreme. If for any reason we have to cancel the tour, you will receive a 100% refund.
