Summary

This 9-hour hot springs and Azul River adventure by Rincon de la Vieja starts with a hotel pickup from Tamarindo anywhere between 6a.m. and 7a.m. Ride in your vehicle over to Blue River Resort and Hot Springs where you’ll enjoy a cocktail upon your arrival. Then hop back in the car for a short drive to a private park on the banks of the Azul River. Your guide for the day gets you set up in a tube, so you can take off down the river. Raft down the clear waters, as you hear sounds of the river, birds, and insects as you ride. Also keep your eyes peeled for howler monkeys, which call the rain forest home. Afterward, head back to the Blue River Resort to break for lunch. The rest of the days activities are in your hands. Pick from a variety of things to do at the resort, including soaking in a natural hot springs or mud bath, walking through a botanical garden, or swimming at a pool with a water slide. You can even relax with a treatment of your choice from the resort’s spa (own expense). The day ends with a car ride to your Tamarindo hotel around 4p.m.

The third tour option is to spend the day at Blue River Resort & Spa to experience the the hot springs pools, botanical gardens, butterfly gardens, mud bath and natural sauna, the Spa, gym and more. We pick up early morning and deliver you home in time for dinner.
